I'm someone who doesn't like sleeping in a dark room, and because of that I usually sleep with the light on.I purchased this because of the amber light and it works perfectly. It's still relatively dark, but this light is just enough light for me to sleep and not have to worry about EMF from white light.

We got these to transition away from blue light at night to help with our sleep schdule. This is the perfect color and intensity for keeping you sleepy while waking up at night to use the bathroom. They're nice and lightweight making it easy to plug into any outlet without issues. They turn on when it gets dark by themselves so it's super easy to plug in and leave in. No flickering or issues with them turning on when dark.

Good night lights that provide light to my hallways so I don't stumble around in the dark. Dark sensor is reliable, and the lights have worked well for the past two years. have not noticed any burnouts or lights getting hot.

I bought two of the red lights a couple years ago (just now getting to a review, sorry) and they have been pretty great. They have a sensor that detects light so they automatically turn on or off, but not just straight on or off, it's kind of like a dimmer switch based on how much light it detects. I put one in the bathroom and one in the hall right outside my bedroom because my dog sometimes randomly decides to sleep just outside my bedroom door and I don't want to trip on her. This is where the loss of a star comes in (although honestly I would really only take away 1/2 a star if I could because this is relatively trivial. Basically the lights seem pretty bright especially if you're looking right at it, but the light diffuses a little too much so they don't quite light up the area very much. So it's not really enough for me to see my dog laying on the floor a couple feet away from the light, but it is enough that if I stop and stare for a few seconds, I can kinda see a shadow indicating that she might be there. I'd say there's maybe a 1 to 2 - foot radius that you would be able to see ok, anything beyond that is pretty difficult. Overall though it's better than nothing and I don't regret the purchase!

I really love these. I put one in my bathroom and another in my hallway, so I don't have to turn on glaring bright lights when it's late at night. I love the soft orange glow. They really do respond to light, turning themselves off automatically if you shine light on them, and turning on automatically as the room gets darker. They are compact, and there is something about them aesthetically that is satisfying, too. Really good value for the price. Love them, my roommates love them, and I'll probably be getting more!

These lights are great at helping me to see enough to get myself around a room without causing that same harsh feeling I get from turning on the room lights. The light is very warm and won't disrupt your sleep.

Just bright enough to light up the bathroom and hallway but not hurt your eyes for late night bathroom trips

Initially, when i plugged in the light, it appeared not to work.I was disappointed.Then after fiddling around with the light, I realised that the light only turns on if the room is dark ie it is light sensitive.One thing to note : For areas like Singapore that use a square 3 pin power socket, you will need a power adapter because, while the voltage of 240V is okay, the light comes with small 2 straight pin connector.
