Vera BradleyWomen's Cotton Breakaway Lanyard

I have been using Vera Bradley lanyards for years. I keep many so I can switch them out often. I have been looking at the wide ones for quite a while but didn't think I would like them. Like another reviewer, mine came out of the package twisted. I didn't realize it was suppose to be like that until I put it on. It lays perfectly once you put it on. I really like it but do have one concern. All the ones I have are break aways. I have gotten it caught a couple of times over the years. So I will see how it goes. Other than that I love it.

Disclosure: purchased for my fiancée, not myself. However, she loves this lanyard. She is a nurse so she uses it to carry her badges and key fobs to and from work. I got her the exact same model 2 years ago, and she loved it so much that she asked me to replace it with the same one again. Highly recommend this product!

I wear my car fob on a lanyard because I can't be trusted not to lose it and I am too cheap to want to replace it. My last one finally fell apart so I thought I would get myself a snazzy new one. And this one is snazzy for sure. I was unclear on the breakaway function, but it seemed like a not bad idea.So today I was at our town transfer station and I was standing on the edge of platform overlooking the metal recycling dumpster. There was space open on the far side. I do like show off my aim with trash so I pitched the old rusted clothing rack up and over to land on the opposite side. Except the bottom of it caught my breakaway lanyard and it went flying across and into the dumpster with the clothing rack. Luckily I had a grabber in my minivan, so I slithered over to the far side and was able to reclaim my lanyard and car fob. My dignity, however, will never be recovered. Did I mention it was raining?Believe it or not, I do think I might like the breakaway feature. Just not at the dump in the rain.

While this is a perfect length, it seemed pricy for a lanyard. I do like that it is thin, but the safety snap is a bit lax. It snaps open with little give, which was disappointing. I see others talking about the clip breaking, but that has yet to happen to me (then again, I don't utilize it). The cord is a bit stiff, so if you don't have weight on it, you may find it bothersome. Overall, I do like it. Minus a star for price and the safety snap.

Loved it, beautiful and sturdy. Great breakaway clip on back and sturdy claw on the bottom. But after wearing it for January to May then August to February it looks like this. I am disappointed because I wear it during the school day and am not rough on it by any means. A coworker has one she’s had for three school years that doesn’t show any wear like this. Makes me wish I had not gotten it to only get a year out of it. :-(

Had one years ago and loved it. Had it for about 10 years. It frayed and I was ok with that as I had it for so many years. I purchased another one and it has a safety clip where if u are wearing it and tug it will Unclip. I hadn’t realized it when I purchased. I get the safety of it but I was disappointed that it had it and hopefully will never have to find out. But if so, will be grateful that’s it has it.

I love the colors and it is somewhat 'shorter' than some lanyards. Best of all I like the safety of the 'break-away' part of hte lanyard.

I’ve had this for less than 2 weeks. I was so excited when I got it because it had a key ring and a clip so I could easily hold all my keys on it but also easily remove my car keys. I went to pick it up today and my keys fell off because the clip broke!

I enjoy how strong the material is. It is easy to wipe down and clean. I appreciate and really enjoy the colours. It is really beautiful and doesn’t feel heavy around my neck since I have to use it every day. The breakaway is great too

I loved the lanyard and it worked great with the case cover.

Nice big lobster clip which could fit around a bag strap if you wanted it to.
