NECAAliens Series 4 Dallas 7" Action Figure (Nostromo Suit)

First off, this is not a review of NECA. They have their own issues, but all in all; no real complaints for them, other than they trust Amazon to sell their products correctly. Amazon really needs to learn how to defferentiate what is a child's toy and what constitutes an item for ADULT COLLECTORS. Bottom line, if you enjoy to take your figures out of the package for displays and/or dioramas; then by all means buy from Amazon. However, if you want a mint condition box; Amazon is not the place to purchase. They even go so far as to slap an inventory sticker right on the front window of the box....Unbelievable....SMDH...And how Amazon ships these types of items, and the lack of care...That's a whole different story altogether...

Looks great with my collection. I will get Lambert and Ripley next. I do wish that it was more posable, as the articulation is stiff.

Read here that this figure has a good likeness of Tom Skerritt. Have to say, when you see the pic advertised here, you have to agree. It is indeed Captain Dallas, with an excellent likeness of the actor. However, when I received my Dallas figure yesterday, I had that morning's "WTF moment". Maybe I got the bootleg version, but if the figure I got looks like Tom Skerritt, then I look like Tony Soprano. And that just isn't the case. Anyway, I've added pics and you be the judge. My thinking, is that the figure shown was the prototype, and the rights to use Mr. Skerritt's likeness may not have been approved so they use a 'reasonable facsimile'. False advertising, in this case. That'S why 2 stars. Sell what is advertised, without lying and you'll probably get 4 - 5 stars, because apart from that, it is a nice piece.

The Amazon collector monster strikes again, ruining an awesome figure . I thought they might have changed their shipping since the Star Wars figures destruction but damaged boxes & figures are in season. The company told me themselves it's a 50-50 chance you'll get a mint one.
