Ok, so looked at lots of ISLAND hoods, which all are suspended from ceiling, rather than attached from wall.Beautiful when it arrived, the black stainless matched our LG appliances great. After we prepped the spot, wiring etc we went to install.I had help and recommend you do as well. If your workman handy like me, still need several hands getting it into position, keeping it there while installing screws, etc.It's bulky and heavy, so why take the chance of dropping it, denting it etc. After we got it up there we turned fan on made lots of noise. Discovered that the fan motor had not been secured to the frame at factory and was hanging by only one of what was supposed to be four screws!We then had to , remove it from the ceiling, ( pain in the ass) take the shroud off to get to motor. Realized the screws were attached from inside as when it's being assembled from scratch. I wasn't going to do that, so we we used similar screws and there was plenty of clearance to secure from outside the motor.Once we got that done, we reassembled the unit, checked the fan and it was good to go. Then we re installed it and voila. Worked great, looks great.Takeaways-1) wish it was more sturdy hanging from ceiling. The frame they send you etc is good and it's sturdy enough but it's not rick solid like the ones that have a single wall to attach.2) Fan plenty powerful enough for cooking. Follow instructions and recommended heights based on the book and internet.3) Gorgeous4) lights are nice5) wish led read outs on front stayed on for all the features. Clock is illuminated, but if regular lights not on then it's hard to see where the features are on black surfaceGreat product for the money, and price

I love the look of this hood. The black stainless is gorgeous. I also disagree with a lot of bad ratings that the lights are too dim. I think the lights work awesome. Looks amazing. That's where I stop loving it.I hired pros to install the hood after looking through the rudimentary instructions. They even stood there scratching their heads and wondering how they would install the hood. Finally we realized the instructions we got weren't for the hood we purchased. Once the hood was ready to go up, they realized the sheet metal chimney would need to be cut 2 inches (i have 9 ft ceilings. Really?) So the install was delayed a week while the chimney was sent to a metal shop for a clean cut.Now that its installed we can finally use it. Holy cow is this thing loud! I went outside to the vent and was amazed at how much air was being pushed. The motor is loud but incredibly powerful. So at least it works well.Except it doesn't really. The thing only seems to pull air in on the left side where the inlet is. The right side is all electrical components. Even just boiling water for Ramen you can watch the steam hit the screen and roll right off the sides.Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this unless you're buying for looks. Unfortunately, we cook a ton and spend a lot of time in our kitchen. I really wish I had made a different purchase.

Everything needed to install was included except the roof vent which of course would be extra. The unit had a couple of dances on it but we didn't notice it until we pulled the protective film off after installation so we didn't send it back. It works great and looks really nice minus the dance recommend you it's recommend you check for dance before you install

So far i love it.

Good: The look. This vent looks really nice and definitely updated the space around it.Average: Unfortunately the vent was just ok in suction power even on full power. I would have preferred more power even at the cost of the noise volume.Bad: The noise level was pretty bad even on the lowest setting. When the vent was on highest power the noise was awful especially since the suction didn’t match the intensity. Also the unit would rattle on the highest level.

Yes it works properly plus the cosmetic of the productIs great for removing steam and smoke in a timely manner, my house doesn’t get smoked up anymore love the product my model number is B02 I S – 30B

buttons are sketchy and don’t always work. this thing is loud. reminds me of a jet engine. but looks nice soo you do the math

He I y ask con un montón de productos y no se quita las manchas. Se ve hasta de otro color donde se limpia. El motor en su última velocidad no es nada silencioso. Para el precio, deja que desear.
