I bought this for my new MacBook Air and was so excited to use it. Sadly, when I opened it the case had multiple scratches on it. I tried to clean it but it didn't work. The case itself is beautiful. Also, when I tried to put it on, it was very difficult to get it to fit to the laptop. It doesn't fit completely. I was very disappointed.*Update: The seller reached out to me (after this review) and offered to give me either a full refund or a new case. Really impressed with their level of customer service.

Perfect I love it

I ordered the pink floral and I love this laptop cover. I have the 2020 A2179 MacBook Air and it fits perfect. Make sure when ordering that it's for the right computer. When I was reading reviews on multiple covers, including this one, there were complaints it didn't fit, so I'm guessing it wasn't the right cover for the computer.A couple complaints I have is that the cover is like that matte material and will show greasy marks and thats why I gave 4 stars. I would give it more of a 4.5.Also, the laptop cover came with a keyboard cover which is great to protect the keyboard. But the cover itself is a little off. The side arrows are for full size buttons, not the smaller ones like on the keyboard. The lettering on the cover does not line up with the letters on the keyboard, so if the backlight is on the letters look blurry. And lastly, the keyboard cover that came with the pink floral pattern laptop cover is orange and doesn't really match the cover. However, unlike some reviews I saw, there is a cut out where the finger print scanner is. Even with these complaints I still use it to protect my keyboard, and I like that it kind of silence the keys when typing. I didn't take off any points for the review based on the keyboard cover because it wasn't the main purchase.

Love the look of this case! Took no time at all to put on! Be warned it is just a slip, and not a very durable one. It is more for looks than anything. The covers on the keys and the screen keeps it clean though! As well as the plugs. I recommend for an at home laptop but I would consider a good bag to put it in if you intend to travel as the case won’t protect it against dropping it or something falling on it.

Absolutely love this case. I received it the day after ordering it which was a plus. It’s absolutely beautiful in person and i’m so happy that I decided to purchase it. The only problem I had was snapping in the main piece (the floral case not the bottom). It would go perfectly in 3 of the corners and then once I got to the 4th, it was hell. It felt like I was going to break my macbook with how hard it was to snap it in. So you will need a little strength to get the last corner snapped in. Other than that haha it was fairly simple and it’s so gorgeous so it was worth the struggle😅 I have the new 2020 Macbook so I know it’s the right size.

After a few months of having this case and screen protector on my laptop my screen wouldn’t turn on. The computer itself would be on, but the screen wouldn’t light up or display anything. I looked it up and saw that sometimes macbooks do something called “gray screening” and thought that must be it and took it in to an Apple repair place to get it fixed. He told me that the actual issue was that my screen protector had cracked my screen, and that it happens fairly often with them. I don’t think this is an issue specific to this brand, and I’m no expert on technology but my screen is going to be really expensive to fix, a lot more expensive than this case.

The case itself is five stars; it fits perfectly, and I absolutely adore the pattern and the coloring. It looks amazing on my dark gray MacBook Air. However, the "coordinating" keyboard cover doesn't match the case at all. Personally, I'm not a fan of using keyboard covers regardless of their color, so this wasn't a deal breaker for me, but I did take one star off for it.

This is a lovely case but I have to be honest and say, even with careful attention to gentle use, it cracked within six months. Now, a year later, there is a large crack across the front. This may be no big deal. Just thought it worth a mention.
