Swagtron Swagboard Pro T1 Hoverboard Electric Self-Balancing Scooter

Well this was the “must have” for Christmas last year for my 6 yr old. I did a lot of research before purchasing this particular board. The thing that really sold me was the safety of the battery, and the learning mode option. All together it’s really a sturdy little machine, no malfunctions to speak of yet. My 200+ lb husband also takes it for a spin here and there. But knowing what can happen when lithium batteries malfunction and/or catch fire almost had Santa saying no last Christmas. The safety rating of the battery alone was the clencher. However my daughter being able to have a “slow” speed to learn on really helped with my fear of her getting hurt because she couldn’t control it. There’s a lot of other boards with all kinds of blinking lights and Bluetooth speakers but if your looking for a quality safe board that isn’t $600 this is the bees knees!

Great product and price. I bought this for my 12 yr old stepdaughter for Christmas and it's her favorite gift. We purchased this brand because her younger cousin has one but of a different model and were impressed by the quality. It's easy to use, even I (36 yr old) get on it with no issues. The battery, so far, lasts what seems like forever and it's comfortable to stand on. Even I have love giving it a spin around our living room and want to buy one for myself. This is a great gift for any kid or teen.

Purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. He opened it today as his gift he used it once and it worked. Turned it off to go inside for five minutes and turned it back on to ride it again and it will not turn on, plugged it in to the charger and the light on the charger will not stay on. Considering the cost of the product it is beyond ridiculous that my grandson only rode it once. Clearly the product is defective and not worth a dime. Filed a warranty claim on the Swagtron website and states that it can take 24-72 hrs for someone to get back to you and the fine print at the bottom of the claim states the following: Terms and ConditionsPLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW.Our representatives cannot issue RMA numbers over the phone. This product seems very well built, easy to operate, and quite a bit of fun! Purchased for my daughter for her 10th birthday and it only took her about 5 minutes to get the hang of it and she was zipping around the house and spinning in circles. She absolutely loves it and I get a kick out of watching her ride it.The only downside for me is that I would love to try it myself but the weight limit is 225 lbs. I am 6'8" tall and weigh about 270.and though I think that it is built well enough that it would probably hold me and be fine, I don't want to risk the 400 clams I spent and break it, so I guess I will stay off and let her have all the fun.

The only thing I didn't like was the little plug that covered the charger input. It was delicate and my 11 year old broke it off the second day she had it. It's hard to keep up with it now. The swagtron t1 itself is awesome. My children fight over it so I'm sure my little boy will be getting one soon.

Excellent, quality product. I have never been on skates or surfboards or skateboards, and I am well past middle age, but I was on this thing riding hesitantly immediately. I have not taken it outside yet because I am learning in the house first. This T1 is HEAVY. No matter how many reviews I read or videos I watched with comments on the weight, I am still surprised by its weight.It takes time to write the brain program and train muscles to use these devices smoothly and effortlessly, so patience is necessary. I cannot walk the distances I used to, so this will be a mobility device for me so I can go on long walks with friends. The T1 is beautifully designed, and the beginner mode is great for anyone just learning.

Hi, this is an AMAZING! hover board, it is sturdy, has a battery life of about 2 - 2 1/2 hours, this may not seem like a long life, but compared to other hover boards, this is considered very long life. My friend got a hover board and it was out of battery within 45 minutes. However this hover board is easy to use and learn, it goes over bumps very well, maybe you would not want to go over large sidewalk cracks but for the most part this hover board is AMAZING and I recommend getting this very much.

Got this for my son for XMAS. He loves it.As soon as he opened it, he was off bombing round the house as fast as it would go (we kept it on training mode inside the house).You do need good balance to use this.Have tried outside too, and works well on most road conditions, but the smoother the better, as it can be a very rough ride if not on a smooth surface. A great buyCharges reasonably quickly (approx. 2 hours) and is not getting over hot when charging.Recommend.

Had 2 replacements, this one broke in less than a week, was using it peacefully until it just gave up and started flashing a twice a red light which indicates a motherboard issue. (not the battery light). Stay away from this brand.
