Sunlight during the night. Every time!
I bought 1. Liked it so I bought 1 more. We had a new family move into a country property we own. In the country, you need a flashlight. A dependable flashlight. They are very fine people with 3 young children. As most landlords know, tenants, good tenants, are worth far more than a monthly rent check. I bought the 2 older children each an inexpensive light from Home Depot. It has to do with hand size and strength. I bought the parents each a TK22UE. A good, dependable, and brilliant light cone to keep by each side of their bed. I more or less stumbled onto the TK22UE. (2 more TK22s!). I’ve bought Streamlights and Surefires and Maglight. Surefire has some excellent products as does Streamlight. But after my first Fenix (a 35 or a 32), Searching was over. A very large and varied product line, each model offered with different combinations of accessories. Every Fenix light I’ve bought I’ve been very satisfied with. I bought 10-15 #35s for a variety of uses including giving brand new #35s to anyone who travels with me. When I ran out of ideas of where to stash them, I started putting them on tactical long guns with an appropriate remote switch. The light goes out further than I can shoot. If you’re looking for any size flashlight that has brilliant light and can be counted on, a Fenix is what you want. Expensive? Yes. But compared to the number of cheap lights that don’t work Or have broken when you’ve dropped them, your Fenix will still be turning night into day!

Quality of the flashlight and materials
This is a fantastic flashlight. I am really amazed at the quality in workmanship and manufacturing. It is unbelievable how bright it is on high beam. The lower settings are great as well. The holder appears to be made for a smaller flashlight, since I was unable to get the light into the unit. Maybe there's a secret to putting the light into the holder. The other drawback is with charging the unit. You have to take the battery out, in order to charge it. However, the battery goes to full charge in a matter of minutes, then your ready to go again. Actually I'm so impressed with the light I'm thinking about buying another one to keep on hand. This is probably the best flashlight I've ever owned. If you want a well made, high quality, extremely bright flashlight, this is the one to buy.Michael MalonePhoenix

Superb quality!
Outstanding build quality, very bright on turbo mode, awesome battery life. I purchased this to replace my Fenix TK15 that I’ve had for 7 years. Some how it ended up finding its way into my son’s tool pouch, as he’s becoming an electrician. Enter the TK22ue. Same quality and fit and finish to what I’m accustomed to in owning Fenix products. It’s brighter (slightly) and it lasts longer because of the battery upgrade. You won’t be disappointed in this product. If you are, then something’s wrong with you.

Solid, bright, durable
I have had this light for about six months now and use it a lot. Right out of the box, it didn't work at all, but upon close inspection, there was a small piece of metal or something left over from the manufacturer blocking the contact for the LED. After removing that, it has functioned perfectly. It does not take much of any loosening of the back cap for it to quit either, so it's important to make sure to check that if it stops working. That only happened once, and it has soft 'O' rings in the seat of the threads on both parts, so it meshes together nicely and shouldn't get loose at all. It feels solid and it's constructed well. I like the beam because it's well defined and even, yet large enough to cover a good amount of area and it's entirely possible that it can outshine a bright car headlamp over distance on its highest setting! I love the lithium battery it comes with too, but it can use two of those other lithium 123's also which keeps it versatile. I still wish it came with an adjustable beam only because I would like to be able to find the best spread for both distance and close up, but it's a great compromise where it is and I guess that would just be one more threaded part that could leak etc, so no beef there really...and it's capability more than makes up for it. There's only one thing that bugs me and it's the button that changes the power. It's located where it gets touched when I'm not wanting to press it. It's not obvious either though, so good luck finding it when you need it fast to brighten up a spot where there's a coyote lurking... and sometimes you won't realize that you're holding it down until it starts flashing too. That's somewhat irritating, butI got used to knowing where not to hold it and where to hunt for it when I want it. Itry to keep the battery topped off because like a phone battery, it will keep its full capacity longer over time than running it way down then charging it. Overall it's worth it but I have a 4 star because of the trouble in the beginning and that button.

The total package for a tactical flashlight. Power, quality, size at a competitive price.
I liked this so much, I bought a second one a week later. Amongst my collection of Maglite LED flashlights (ML300L 3D, 4D, and rechargeable), Nitecore (TUP, EC4GTS), other Fenix (UC52, E30R), SureFire (Fury, etc.), and BriteStrike - each one serves a different purpose, application - this is quite remarkable. Power (40,000 candlepower - the beam matches the Maglite 3D models), quality - fit and finish and design of body, switches, lenses, crenellated ring, etc. - is terrific. Easy to operate, sized competitively, manages heat well, I keep one next to my bed, inches from my head, and another in my TV room. Again, I bought a second one a week after receiving the first.

Great Flashlight
Received flashlight as expected. Package included 21700 battery, belt carry case, USBC charge cable, battery case & lanyard. Charged battery about 4 hours. Easy to tell when charge was completed as indicator changed from red to blue. This is a solid flashlight - it has some heft to it. You can just feel it. This is my first Fenix product. I do own some other brands, but this light at 1600 lumens is the brightest. So far, even the lowest setting is adequate for walking around a dark house or outdoors. I would definitely consider purchasing another one.

Very impressive little flashlight
I use this flashlight in the farms of rural Uttar Pradesh. It is very bright, easy to operate and easily withstands all the dirt and heat. Doesn't takes a long time to charge up either.
