The Hug Book (Little Golden Book)

Cute and simple book. Words are a good size font. Not a very difficult read for young kids to read. Cute little rhymes. The pictures are bright and colorful. The pictures look like vintage cartoons. Very cute book that talks about hugs and the importance of giving and getting hugs. Not many words and sentences on each page. As you can see from the pictures, you're not overwhelmed with paragraphs of sentences. It's a fast read. This would be a perfect bedtime story. It ends with bedtime hugs.

Adorable book about different kinds of hugs. From "Hello hugs" to "Good night hugs" my daughter had me reading this book over and over. Cute pictures. Simple sentences and repetition of the word "hug" to help early readers. Great book.

Love the drawings. Perfect for a kid under three years old. Too simple for older kids.

Loved the story!

This is absolutely the cutest book I've seen for young children, teaching them the value of hugs with parents, relatives and others. A must read for all children! The illustrations are adorable and the rhyming is very touching.

Everyone loves hugs and The Hug Book shares all types of hugs from big ones to bedtime hugs. Beautifully illustrated with animals by Anna Kennedy and written by Sue Fliess the story is told in simply lines that your children will soon be reading aloud with you. From hugs from Mom and Dad to travel down the hall hugs the tale is adorable. The simple rhymes and different types of hugs are sure to make you and your child smile.

The Little Golden books are great for young ones. Easy to follow and helps them to learn to read. Highly recommend as a good present for young ones

This book is very adorable and now I am a big fan of the artist :) It is cute through and through. It talks about all the different hugs but not in a boring way. I found myself really enjoying the book with my toddler and looking at all the pictures. Very well done book. I think parents will enjoy this too because it is just too cute for words :) A very cute charming sort of feel to this book as well. Brings a smile to anyone's face. A personal favourite. :)

Good book with nice drawings and the rhymes are cute!My 22 month boy loves it but be careful, the pages are very thin, they won't survive a baby's attention!
