Lavender Geranium Conditioner Bar, 95 GR

I am an African American woman and find the Lavender and Geranium conditioner bar to be the equal of a liquid conditioner. It works very nicely and my hair felt soft and moisturized after rinsing the conditioner out. All you do is rub it like a bar of soap and work it through your hair. My only complaint is that the bar arrived having somewhat melted and its container/box was oily in some places. I think the manufacturer should wrap the product in paper then put it in its container rather than just be "naked" so to speak in the box.

The package suggests dissolving this in water to make conditioner at home, but I just rub it onto hair directly. I use this both on my daughter's thick, wavy long hair, and my own fine, straight hair. Both of us can brush our hair wet (with a wet brush), and it keeps the tangle away when it's dry. It's a lot lighter than liquid conditioner, and when you're in the shower you think you might not have enough on, but it is enough. Smells very floral. Comes packaged in a paper box, no plastic! Does have to travel a long way from the UK though, so mixed environmental impact. I really like it.

I got this product last week and absolutely love it so far. I boiled it in water as recommended and it filled a full bottle of conditioner. I was worried it would be watery or the liquid would separate but it looked and felt like normal liquid conditioner. The scent is great and not too overpowering and my hair seems to like it too.

This product did not disappoint.I read other reviews that did not like how their hair felt or that the product needed to be mixed with boiling water...For my thin fine long hair, this product has been the best bar conditioner I've tried. I've only used it as a bar. It seemed to be more compact and not diffusing into my hair at first but once I rinsed it, I could tell it did not leave a residue that felt like tacky spackle as some other conditioning bars do. My hair was soft and manageable while combing wet. It smells beautiful- like a fresh floral.It does have a "plastic" wrap on the bar to protect it during shipping but the cardboard package indicates it is a compostable cellulose wrap.This one's an auto-ship.

I bought this because I am trying to use less plastic and I liked the scent profile. I used it as a bar a few times but found my hair seemed greasy afterwards. I followed the directions and melted the whole bar into liquid form. But, I didn't use it very often and looked in the bottle one day to find mold growing on the top (after all, it IS preservative free!). I scraped off the mold and started storing it in the refrigerator, and there is no more mold. Next time, I will cut the bar into smaller pieces and only melt a little at a time. All in all, I recommend!

Follow the water adding instructions. Works just as well as any other conditioner great at moisturizing. I gave 4 stars because of the packaging. I ordered it to say no to plastic and it came in one of the orange bags with the bubble wrap boo. The products packaging is a small cardboard box yay. Missed the point. Also took like a month to arrive.

I used this product in the evening and woke up with my hair feeling greasy and dirty. I have very oily hair and this product made it feel like I hadn't showered at all the night before.

Its so waxy! I couldn't even brush my hair. I had to use my old shampoo to get it out! I washed and rinsed twice and it was still in my hair. I didn't like this product at all.

I have been using this solid conditioner, every day for over a month and it barely looks any different from when I received it. This is going to last a long time. It smells, wonderful and conditions my hair like a regular conditioner would. I simply use shampoo as normal, and then wet this conditioner bar and rub it over my hair. I keep this conditioner in a soap box to keep it dry between uses otherwise I can imagine it would just melt away.

This conditioner bar made a great job of conditioning my curly hair. I personally love the smell. In the past I've found other bars smell too strong. To me this one doesn't.

Beautiful fragrance and hair soft and manageable after use. I store it in a soap dish so it dries out after use -I will see how this effects fragrance. You can convert it to a more liquid conditioner if preferred

A good quality and inexpensive conditioner bar! It lathers much better than others I've tried or you can melt it down into a liquid conditioner. It smells a bit like Turkish Delight which I like.
