I just now installed this shower curtain rod. It arrived already assembled and merely needed to be rotated until it lengthened to the proper length for installation. I pulled one of the end caps off to slide the curtain loops onto the rod, then replaced the cap and pressed the rod into place between two tile walls.This rod feels sturdy and the pads at the ends have a much larger surface area than my previous curtain rod -- which kept slipping and falling down into the bathtub. This looks like a good product.

The shower rod does what a shower rod is supposed to and it is staying in place very securely. My only minor quibble is that it was described as having a polished finish and it doesn't, really; it's stainless steel. All the other metal fixtures in my bathroom have a brilliant, mirror chrome finish while the rod is just plain steel. It's probably not noticeable to anyone but me, but there it is.

We had a 'new design' rod that was not useable and we were extremely frustrated. Read many reviews and came across this item. Super quick delivery, super quick installation and it is great! It is a substantial rod that is not flimsy in the least. The end pads are large, providing good contact with the walls. Read the directions and follow them - especially the one indicating not to try to adjust it once it is in position. Use the advantage of the spring when placing positioning. Good old technology!

- Huge value for money since I rent an apartment that has little to no counter space. The fact that I can't drill anything into the wall, or the old wood cabinet is really annoying. This is the best solution thus far.- Very sturdy and high quality rod.- Come with an instruction manual and take less than 3 minutes to install.You basically twist the rod to fit the space, then twist some more to add pressure to lock it in place.I use some force to pull the rod down like I'm doing pull ups to make sure the whole thing is not moving anywhere. And that's it. If it moves, it means you need to tighten the rod.- I grabbed some hooks from Amazon as well. That way I can hang pots, pans, kitchen utilities, or some art decors.- Just make sure you measure and buy the right rod size.

We were really impressed with this curtain rod. It was surprisingly heavy and felt really solid, right out of the box. It looks and feels very high quality. We had to extend the rod to 68 inches and we actually put two Hookless brand fabric curtains (w/ liners) on this rod and the rod didn't even bow from the weight! The threading inside the rod was so well done, that just inverting it caused the bottom of the rod to unspool easily and like butter. The spring was tensile, tightly fitted, and strong. I installed this product myself, and had no problem adjusting the rod to the right length and turning the rod to tighten it against the walls. The rubberized ends of the rod provided great traction against the tile on both ends. The shower curtain rod looks and feels much more expensive than what we paid. We are extremely satisfied and actually VERY pleasantly surprised! Would buy again, definitely. With the weight of the metal in this rod, am curious to see how it stands up to rust over time....our hopes are high, based on what we have observed, thus far!

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent packaging to keep it safe. Product is beautiful and very sturdy. This will last a lifetime.

Just received it, took about 30 minutes to install. Most of that time spent measuring the exact points on the wall. The actual rod installation took about 5 minutes. Follow the instructions carefully and make sure you do all the prep work because it is a little hard to move once it is in place. I only added 5 cm to my length and it worked out fine. If you do have to adjust, don't force-slide on the wall/tile, push the rod in a bit to engage the spring, then it is easier (small adjustment, like half an inch not across the wall). The rod looks elegant and clean (as in design). The metal does pick up fingerprint smudges while handling but one wipe with rubbing alcohol took care of that. Looks shiny and polished.

Very Easy to install. It took me 5 minutes to take old off, But I only use one minute to put new one on. I don’t even used a tool. The quality matches the price.
