When I bought these, I didn't know what to expect. When they arrived (a day sooner than expected), all I needed to do was to remove the battery protector tab and place them! The simple flame effect is exactly what I wanted. I replaced the little tanks in my outdoor Tiki Torches with these Flame Effect Ball Jars. They look great!I plan to buy some as a gift for a friend!

I bought two sets of these and I was thrilled to see how bright and beautiful they were after charging up in the sun all day. I did have one that didn’t work and I contacted the seller and they shipped me a two pack of new brand new jars and lights at no charge. Now that is a company I can get behind. One that wants to make sure it’s customers are happy. I’ll be ordering another set for the front of my house.

These decorations are amazing. They look so beautiful in the low light settings.

First, the good. The flame animation is delightful. I don't know if they use a good random number generator, but anyway the effect to my eyes is pleasant.The battery holder requires a special, tiny Phillips head screwdriver in order to swap out batteries.The activation switch has two issues. I would like the labelling to be as follows: Auto / Off. That would more clearly express the behavior, compared to On / Off. Since both the solar charging and the lamp are Automatically activated, but require the switch to be pushed to that position.Finally, would love to see the switch moved onto the top of the solar panel for easier access. Instead of having to unscrew the lid every time.Keep making and selling awesome lanterns!

We love everything about these!!!! They are bright and look like an actual flame. They are outside during the day to charge and light up when it gets dark. I also use them in the house. They stay lit until around 8am at which time they go outside again. Actually they worked two nights in a row indoors when I forgot to put them outside. I have now given them as gifts twice and plan on buying myself another set. I highly, highly recommend these Mason jar LEDs. I guarantee you will love them!

We had seen these lights when visiting our daughter in CA....and immediately thought the flames were real candles burning inside mason jars....ours now hang at varied lengths in our giant rhododendron "tree" which forms the rear border of our backyard garden.....their warm natural candle glow (NOT the bright white) every evening at dusk and well into the night....we have bought many of these for gifts which have been enthusiastically received!

One of those odd, instances where you cant reach out directly, and Amazon, in all their wisdom, plays mediator. Within a week. One of the four items stopped working. All we wanted was an option to have the one unit replaced. Nope. It's an "all or nothing" mentality. Return them all or not at all. Not exactly customer friendly. Had this not been Halloween season, id have sent them all back and never bought from the seller again. But I actually do like the look. Hence the one star, versus zero.

These are very bright and hung mine on small shepherd hooks. I only longevity a 3 because the lids rusted. If I would have known I would have put some clear cost to stop that from happening.
