Best In The Series
Of the three books so far this was the best one for me and that is simply because of the female character Talicia. Strong, determined woman yet fearful and filled with self-doubt which makes her character more believable than the rest. Kudos to this author for not taking the road most frequently traveled when it comes to marrying the have nots with those who have. It would have been typical to present Licia as a female running from demons of sexual or drug abuse and repeating the same cycle in her adult life. Not this author - she gave us a character who did what she could to succeed while protecting her family and when it came to life and death situation she still stuck to the path of right. Best part of it all was putting Creed on his backside and giving Shada as good as she got. Can't wait to read Duke's story.

Go Stefan and Talicai!
Loved the characters in this book. Love that Stefan had been married for months in secret without the other brothers knowing it. Stefan is strong, but very kindhearted person. His wife Talicia is a strong black woman who has had a hard time in life. But she will not let people run over her. I got sick of Shada and Creed bulling everyone to make everyone do what they want. Treating Talicia like she's not good enough. Personally I wanted (badly) for Talicia to hit the mess out of Shada. I really wish Ms Lockwood who have let that happen in the story or one of the others, because Shada deserved it. But Great Story.

The two lovers were opposites and the heroine was very complex. Sometimes it was hard not to get irritated at her, but her upbringing was hard and most likely contributed to her distrust of everyone. keeping her brother out of trouble probably added to her stress.I liked the family interaction and support from some of the guys and girls while others were a lot more distrustful. It made for a interesting read.

Great read, ending seemed rushed
Stefan is the impulsive baby Marquette brother. He is the one that purchased the restaurant and got his brothers involved. Reading how he appeared to have settled down, while sneaking around behind his brothers backs to perform the way he loves was interesting. I only gave four stars because I had too many unanswered questions. Talicia suddenly just accepts Stefan, there is no real information about the twins past, and the ending was just too unreal to accept.

I love all the Marquette books and i did enjoy this one but i was disappointed in Shada. I wanted to reread the other books to see if she was this rude and disrespectful before. Honestly it was a huge turn off for me.

Great book!
The Marquette Family books just keep getting better. Stefan and Talicia's story is so very moving. I'm glad it ended the way it did, as far as the relationships go.

Very Enjoyable
I loved this last brother's story. I hope it's not the end of them. Would love to read how they rebuild and how the lives are. Would even love to read about Duke finding his own true love

I love this family, Stefan is fantastic!
I am a bit biased so I may not be objective, but I love the storyline of the Marquette's , I think there could be more stories coming from Tressie Lockwood and I'm looking forward to reading them!
