I tried a couple other versions of these water shoes and they ran small for the stated size. These are good. They are all basically about the same and likely come from the same factory, but these fit the best. I also like the velcro flap over the top. The pair weighs about 1/2 pound (in the 48/49 size) for you hikers who want to know the weight they will add to your pack.I wear a 13-14 in hiking shoes, and this shoe fit me perfectly. Others who state that size were a little tight. Also, the price is lower compared to other comparable water shoes. Buy a couple, as all these various water shoe brands are of minimal construction (to keep them light) so don't expect them to take a lot of wear before failing.P.S. I don't know why this review does not show as a verified puirchaser. I DID purchase 2 pairs of these on Amazon.
