Fine nib fountain pen
The pen came in a thin cardboard box with bubble wrap packaging. Delivered in time. Translucent plastic body in blue color and a converter inside. A brushed metal cap and clip. Fine metal nib. Good buy. Use good quality ink for best results.

Fine nib , very good quality.
Pen is very good quality. Fine nib is world well, no scratchy .. smooth writing . Do not use indian ink like camlin in this pen , it will get block after some time if you use indian inks ..prefer Quink .. Parker ink .

It's sharp and smooth. Filling ink seem to be an arduous task. Otherwise the pen satisfies.

Great pen for the price
There a few things to discuss here.In-hand-feel: I switched from Parker Vector to Jinhao 51A. Vector is perfectly comfortable for me so 51A felt a bit thick, hence I feel a bit uncomfortable when I write with it for some long time. But then again, it completely depends upon personal preference. The pen itself doesn't have much of weight but the cap is really heavy and feels great. The aesthetics are stunning and it feels quite different from the non-hooded pens.Writing: Writing with 51A is smooth-ish. Writing at faster speeds you will feel some rough feedback, but overall it feels nice to write with.Ink drying: I wouldn't say it's alarming, but there is some drying of ink when not used for some long time. I left the Vector and 51A unused for a week, with the same ink in the tank. I felt that Vector had a somewhat smoother flow when I started to write, but 51A wasn't bad. After a few scribbles it became smooth as well.Ink leak: This is my first hooded pen, so I don't know if this is a common feature or not, but I saw that the ink leaked at the point where the nib touched the inside of the hood. If you see this, don't get alarmed, the ink will not leak to your fingers, it is going to stay inside the case. This makes me think that the designers knew of this and took proper corrective actions. So, all in all, I'd say that for ~300 INR it is a great buy. Go for it without a second thought.
