Battery powered clock movement, that works great.

Bought this to replace a quartz pendulum movement for a clock I made.Please be sure to check the clearance you have between the clock face and the inside surface of the glass door in front of the clock face compared to the movement (remembering to subtract the thickness of the clock face from the movement length!)This movement does not include a pendulum (which was fine for me - I already have one).The hands provided were a little long for my clock face. If necessary I could have easily trimmed them to length - I ended up using the original hands which fit well on the new movement.The movement does have a second hand function, which I really did not need - there is a brass button that presses into the end of the movement if you don't use the second hand to improve the look. (the brass button in my kit was already installed on the second hand, but comes off readily.)NO chimes or fake "tick" noise, which I did not want anyway.I installed it 3 days ago - took less than 15 minutes - Instructions are adequate - and the clock has been keeping excellent time since than.. Quartz movements are by definition accurate, but its always nice to confirm that its so.Happy with the choice - would definitely recommend it for a replacement of an existing movement if the length of the spindle works for you.

We used this Clockworks to repair a pendulum clock. After installing it it did not keep time. It did move the pendulum. Perhaps it was not powerful enough for this clock but it did not work for us

Great replacement for my old wall clock. Fits and works great. Make sure you get the right length for your shaft to go through the clock face. I used their diagraphs and found the right fit. Easy to install and set up. I liked these hands better than the original ones.

I'm pretty handy, but I worried about replacing the battery clock works for my pendulum clock for several months, then I measured everything, just took a deep breath and bought this kit. It was easy to change out and works perfectly. It's just a relatively inexpensive clock but I love it and was missing it. Happy customer.

Uhrwerk bei einer rd. 40 Jahre alten Schmeckenbecher Wanduhr mit Pendel war defekt. Bei der Auswahl eines Ersatz-Uhrwerks sollte man genau die Maße ansehen. Musste noch die Zeiger einkürzen, da mein Zifferblatt etwas klein war. Ist problemlos mit einer Schere oder einem Seitenschneider möglich.
