Great Replacement for Disposable Tissues
I ordered these handkerchiefs because I wanted to stop using disposable tissues. I am not disappointed; I have found these to be a great replacement. Positives: can wash with the rest of my laundry; don't stain easily (not thinking, I used a white one to stop blood from a papercut, when I realized I figured "oh well, I'll just have one stained hankie," but when I did the laundry the next day, no stains!). Only one con: they aren't that soft; they get softer after a couple washes and they are fine for everyday allergies and nose-blowing, but I think if I had a cold, my nose would get too irritated. Overall, would recommend if you want to create a little less waste in your life.

I really like the vintage look of these hankies
I really like the vintage look of these hankies. To me they are a nice weight - light enough to fold easily for a small pocket, but a little thickness to them to actually use them. I'm embroidering my grand daughter's first initial in one corner. I like the colors I would have given 5 stars, but one of the hankies (that I saw, may be others) had tiny black dots around the corners on the back side. No big deal - perhaps just dye bleed through. Thank you for making them--I'm glad I got them!

My 80+ year old mother LOVED these for Mother's Day!
These hankies were a great gift for my mom; they reminded her of handkerchiefs that HER grandmother used to carry! Three of each color, but every one had a different colored floral design.She absolutely loved them!They seemed soft, but will be softer after they are laundered.Thanks for a trip down memory lane for my mother!

Ladies Handkerchiefs to begin a new tradition

I purchased these beautiful, well-made hankies to pass this tradition along to my daughters and granddaughters. Very Giftable
I purchased these to give as Mothers Day gifts to a Mothers Day Tea I was invited to. The handkerchiefs are very pretty although I wish they had been a little bit bigger. I made 4 gifts from them since there was 12 of them. Took and rolled them and tied with a pretty ribbon. They were a big hit! Handkerchiefs are hard to find in the stores so Amazon is a great place to purchase them.

Great colors
Yes, per the advise of previous reviews I washed them for softness. (No ironing required) They did not shrink and the colors stayed vibrant. They are great for my use as well as will make great gifts. (you can wrap things in them and tie a bow around it) Love them!

These are beautiful! I used them for a tea party to place spoons and forks on. Had pretty paper tea pot printed paper napkins too because I knew no one would want to dirty these! Very dainty and made for a lovely table setting. I ordered two sets to match up with different colored tea cups, Perfect!

Good cotton handkerchief.
These are a good everyday handkerchief. Pastel colours, soft after washing (I always wash cloth items before wearing or using.) I have recently stopped using tissues, and was so happy to find these handkerchiefs that are pretty, but not "fussy" or lacy, and not too large. It doesn't feel like using one of my husband's handkerchiefs.

NOT ABSORBENT
Very pretty. Easy to wash. Don't wrinkle. Don't stain. But sadly, they don't really ABSORB. It feels like you're just moving the mucus around your face because it doesn't stick/absorb into the material. I guess these would work if you want to use them for anything other than a good nose blow.

fantastic looking
I washed and rewashed these as part of me trying to eliminate disposable kleenexes from my lifestyle. I had bought them to add to wedding favours but i kept some of them and they look beautiful, wash great and the designs are different which is pretty cool! Would buy again!

Not the softest material but better after you wash it, nice fun colors. Was used in gift bags for a wedding shower and looked great for the garden party theme

I love these excellent soft and sturdy pretty cotton handkerchiefs. I will take them to my frequent trips to India, and SouthEast Asia to wipe sweat off and decorate my hotel rooms.
