So far this A/C compressor has been great, I drove my car about 2 years with a weak oem compressor and in GA heat its a nightmare. Installed professionally by me as I am certified automotive technicion and have my refrigerant license as well. If ac is done correctly(very little do this)the compressor should last like any other. Cools amazing and I would highly recommend but it should always be installed with new parts like the ac drier, expansion valve/orifice tube and condensor and also the system should be clean and vacuumed down.This thing beat buying an oem one at $600
