It's like someone implemented a list of features without giving any thought to usability. My biggest gripes are with the snooze and alarm functionality. The snooze button is a tiny button at the top dead center of the clock. If you manage hit the bullseye, the ringing stops and the light goes off. If you accidentally hit any of the 6 buttons on either side, the ringing stops, the light goes off AND the alarm turns off FOR THE DAY. If you managed to hit the snooze and decide to get up before the alarm goes off again, you can't use the 6 buttons to disable the alarm. The 6 buttons go back to their original functions unless the alarm is actively ringing. You have to hold the touch sensitive alarm button on the front of the clock while the clock is snoozing. So if you get up before the snooze goes off, you've just turn off the alarm for the next day. And oh, the the alarm button isn't backlit so good luck finding the button in the dark. This thing is perfect for someone who wakes up easily and wakes up well coordinated but if that's you, why would you need a wake up light? If you insist on getting this, at least it's cheap enough for you to buy one for your boss too. That way they'll understand why you're late all the time.

This product is a game changer! How annoying is it to be startled awake every morning by a loud, obnoxious beep? This clock changes that. It's super customizable. Whether you want a soothing sound, light, recording, or light and sound, this clock has it all. I generally set it to wake me up with light and birds chirping. The light comes on before the sounds and more often than not, I am fully awake and ready to face the world before I hear the sound. It's a very pleasant and easy way to wake in the morning. No more being startled and annoyed at being woken up. If you too find it hard to get up in the morning after being startled awake, invest in this clock. I will never go back. The only thing I wish it had was two alarm times to save. I can live without it due to the many benefits and ease of use.

This is a great clock.Pros: soothing light display, natural sounds are pleasant and gentle as opposed to just rousting me from bed, FM good for news, with light and alarm this clock always wakes me up in the morning , the alarm turns off quickly on its own so you never need to touch the clock, and you can record your personal wake-up message ("don't forget to pick up little Camshaft at daycare.") AND I feel better when I wake with this clock -- I was skeptical, but it is true.Cons: only one alarm, 30 minute sunrise is not adjustable, controls are touchy -- if someone handles the clock, they may easily turn off the alarm.I had to send mine back for a minor problem -- the return was a piece of cake.

I love the idea of this product. The sunrise feature usually wakes me up before the alarm even goes off which is great. It is not very user friendly. The buttons on the front are very difficult to see, especially in dim light like when you're waking up or going to sleep. Haven't gotten the hang of using the white noise/sleep function. If I want to I have to completely turn on the room lights so kinda defeats the purpose. Also, it is loud and have to turn on lights to find the volume. I am still pulling out the instructions every time I need to do something on it after a few weeks. So overall it's just ok. Wish I would have done more research before purchasing.

This light cost a third of the Philips light and has all the functions that i needed.The light is bright enough for a small to medium size bed room and gradually increase brightness.You can also record your own alarm, radio, color mode.It's pretty easy to use and also looks nice on your side table.

I’m a travel nurse and work night shift, I have the Phillips version at home but try to bring as little as possible with my while on assignment. This has been a great replacement and cheap enough that it won’t hurt me to gift it to another traveler when I leave, however it is less bulky than my Phillips so it may become my designated travel alarm clock. It’s easy to program, on par with the Phillips version in functionality, and even has a white noise feature that I don’t believe the Phillips has

I purchased and returned it. It wouldn't set up...time / date ...alarm ...nothing. The instructions indicated to press buttons that did not exist on the device to enter the set-up mode. They were not there or were not labeled as such. I tried many combinations hoping they were just incorrectly labeled on my model , but it would not work. It wouldn't even start just by plugging it in at the right time and hoping it would start a dimming process basis on timing (hours). Nope. Also, one it started beeping there was nothing one could do to make it stop.

The buttons on front should be on edge and vice versa. The button to change from 12 hr to 24 hr time is on the middle of the face. Why would that function be in the most accessible and accidentally hit position? Also the button icons on the front are very hard see.Also disappointed that you cannot control how long the sunrise will stay on. If you fall back asleep you no longer have any light, which defeats the purpose of waking up with light.Returning this and will try another one.
