Poor Ddesign
For the money it was made OK for light use, but if doing 5 lb of potatoes it did not work out ro well.The design was an issue with 2 major flaws1. The masher entered into the canister at a45 degrees causing a mess and some potato to go over the top of the canister when squeezing them.2. The disks to mash through just sat on the bottom of the canister and stuck to the masher and had to be replaced back into the canister on every use.

GREAT FOR DIET NOODLES
I bout this to make Konjac noodles, I like shirataki noodles because they are low calorie but the thinner they are the less texture they have. For this reason I use this potato ricer to make the noodles thicker. I also use the potato ricer because it is easier to maneuver over a pot of hot water.

Sturdy Easy To Use Quality Product
The product is well made of solid stainless steel. It is very easy to use and the hand grips are easy to use. The potatoes come out uniformly and it's very easy to make gnocchi with this. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves making fresh gnocchi at home.

Inaccurate description
NOT premium stainless steel at all (or any kind of stainless I've ever used in the kitchen). Very poor quality and performance. Tarnished in the dishwasher after first use. See photo.
