ThorogoodMen's Crosstrex Series - 6" BBP Waterproof, Side Zip Composite Safety Toe Hiker Boot

I'm currently on my third pair of these boots. I work in a trade and these boots receive a beating. From roofs to masonry work, they've seen it all. These are hands down the most comfortable work boot I've ever owned. And it seals the deal that it's also a side zip. I never have to tie my boots. Just jump in em and go. They are great walking on asphalt roofs. They are also durable within reason. I'm not quite sure there is a bulletproof boot. They all wear out eventually. And these eventually will. But not before taking a licking. The combination of the comfort, durability and price, in addition to the side zip AND a composite toe make this a winner in my eyes. I buy a pair every 8 months to a year. Worth it. And if you actually don't abuse them I'm sure they'd last even longer.

Boot is comfortable, but rubber sole did start to peel what I would consider prematurely. This happened after about 4-6 months of wearing 5 days a week. Rest of boot looks great and has remained intact, but sole has started to peel in several spots.

Got these as a gift for my boyfriend and he adores them. He’s a biker and he actually started wearing these when they ride. He loves the fit and comfort and they look really nice on him.

Day one, so far so great. They are comfy and I wore them 8.5 hours straight on my feet shoveling and walking. Will update after a month or so.

The company sucks!! These were fantastic. I loved them. Until the sole started separating. I sent pics by email and was told to ship them ($25) to them and they would evaluate if they would warranty. I told them they could evaluate from Pic but they wouldn't budge. This was my third pair (all different purpose) and will be my last. Outdoor store was the seller not sure who Amazon had me talking to. But the were extremely condescending. Buyer beware. Otherwise every pair was perfect outa the box
