SparcoSPA Seat Grid QRT - 008009RNR

I’m 6’4” 34” waist with medium-wide shoulders and this seat is great for me. It could stand to be slightly taller, but nonetheless for the price you can’t beat sparco.

To start, I'm 6'1" and about 180lbs and find this to be a decently sized seat, especially for my height. The seatbelt pass-through holes aren't too low, the upper leg pad isn't too short, and the headrest is just right.Where this seat really falls short is support in the torso and back areas. The sides aren't deep enough to provide support to your ribs, and I find myself feeling uncontained sometimes, as if the seat has a flat back. Somehow the lower part of the seat is deep enough to feel very secure, with the sides almost entirely covering my thighs.Lumbar support is the real downfall. The back has a slight curve to it which puts your back in an odd shape. Longer amounts of time in the seat can lead to pretty bad back pain due to the lack of any lumbar support. Multiple days in a row of being in the seat results in waking up with the back pain already, not a very good thing knowing I'll have to get back into the seat that caused the pain in the first place.So, overall....not great. It's on the lower end of prices, but this being my second Sparco that was woefully uncomfortable is not a ringing endorsement to come back to them in the future.
