Aluminum Flange for Scepter Military Fuel Cans

The only weak spot of the Scepter military fuel can is the plastic flange. This replacement part eliminates this weakness leaving only the gasket as a wear item. Totally awesome fix at a great price!

The plastic retaining rings on both my MFCs had deteriorated and the gaskets would often fall out whenever I swapped caps to refuel. No more worries about that. These are a must for upgrading the scepter fuel can kids. Gas or diesel cans. When the plastic one cracks from the gasket sweling you spill fuel out of the thing. These eliminate that. I have done it to two cans so far and plan to upgrade the rest of the cans i have to these. Yes thwy arw pricy but you obly havw to buy this once and then you are good. The gasoline will cause the gaskets to swell and then that causes the plastic to crack. The gaskets were made for diesel so those will need to be swaped out foe the viton ones too. Great company and they come very well packaged.

So easy to install!! My rubber seal was falling apart and the plastic center piece was probably okay, but I changed it out and somehow the aluminum centerpiece makes sense at least to me. I used a rubber mallet to tap the retainer clip on and it was done.
