Controls and operation are incredible easy and flame is HOT
After researching all the possible unites out there, different price ranges with various features, I found this one to be suitable for what we needed. I bought it three months ago and was finally installed in our remodeled kitchen. It is quit the complement in looks to our kitchen. Controls and operation are incredible easy and flame is HOT! I am really impressed with this unit.

Nice...But
Nice unit and I only gave it four out of five stars due to the fact that the instructions that come with it were obviously written by someone who may be very fluent in their native language...but certainly NOT in English. The other problem is that there is absolutely no manufacturer contact information should you ever need to replace any parts like knobs or burner grates.

Two ignitors are defective when first installation
It was purchased as a brand new item. The unit look was impressively good. It was made in China. 1) The unit arrived late than expected. 2) A professional installer was hired to install the unit, and he told us two ignitors were defective - not able to flame. We asked the seller to replace/exchange the unit, but the seller only proposed a solution where they would sent us two new ignitors, asked us to replaced the defective ones ourselves and would give a 5% discount on the unit price. Our decision was to return the defective order and to purchase an item sold directly from Amazon for peace of mind.

good and bad
windmax 34" cooktop ; nice looking unit easy to install. Easy was important because the sparker to one burner did not work. We got through a minor language barrier got a new spark controller (wrong one. was for a 4 burner) and then we got the right one for the 5 burner. It was pretty easy to take it apart and replace the sparker. note I am a retired auto mechanic and can fix most things. Now the things we don't like; The valve controls are on or off. the control at the low end is almost no different than high.Cheap valves.choosing the right size burner becomes critical for some heat control and we don't like it. We will probably throw this thing away at some point and go buy a $1000. unit after we get frustrated with burning our food a few more times. The removable upper plate diverter and grill come apart nicely for easy cleaning but it is critical they be put back exactly where they should be or you will get a back-flash. (sketchy indexing of parts placement)
