Outstanding product! Let me be clear here. This is not a panacea for everyone. You get only what you are willing to put into it. No exceptions. I have seen comments where an individual was complaining about attaching the straps and attachments prior to use. What in the world? One must attach their key to the door in order to open it if it isn't automatically or electrically connected. I nearly went into cardiac arrest after reading that review. That isn't fair to the manufacturer of the product. This isn't a gym, a spa, a recreation center or anything else like that. The BodyBoss isn't designed to replace those venues it is simply a platform where space is limited and one wants to do some basic physical exercises so that their body doesn't resemble the couch or slumped over chair they have been sitting in for years. I purchased it for squats and find myself doing other exercises that I didn't initially purchase it to actually do. Therefore, let me conclude by saying working out is a choice, no equipment will ever do it for you, you must want it, you are going to feel it, then you got to do it! Great product!!

Purchased this over a week ago and love it! I have already completed many workouts using this product. I love the versatility of it. I can work my all my muscle group and adjust resistance to work for my strength. I originally bought it because of the squat bar! I wanted to be able to do squats at home and was looking at squat racks but HATED that they took up so much space not too mention they were pricey. I saw this and the price was right! The grips on the product are comfortable. It comes with many accessories as well. I have bought countless home gym products and I love the fact that I only need this (although if you have an inclined bench you can even do chest exercises)! I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to work out at home and doesn't want to spend a fortune or is limited on space.

I highly recommend the Bodyboss, but have to say most people will end up spending much more on extra bands, hand grips, and maybe even a curl bar. I bought the XBar to use with it. To do a variety of exercises you will want several extra bands, one or two extra hand grip sets, and perhaps an extra bar. Connect them all at the same time so you don’t have to waist time connecting and disconnecting devices and bands.

I love this product and think you will like it too. It makes working out and doing resistance training from anywhere really easy. Please keep in mind ... 1) There are two packages you can buy one with two bands, and others with four. Mine was the one with four. 2) They only sell packages with one door anchor now.I hope this was insightful and informative.

I've been weightlifting for many years using heavy free weights doing high intensity training (HIT). I have learned first hand resistance training is different than moving free weights, but as I age and the injuries are piling up the doctor said it was time to move away from heavy free weights and my lifestyle has changed that going to a gym several days a week isn't doable (live in the country far from gyms and started a farm with daily strenuous activity). Therefore, I gave this a try and using HIT training I'm keeping up strength as a supplement to daily chores. Doubtful this will pack on mass, but I can see it helps maintain strength over time. If I don't use resistance training for a few weeks my strength will lessen, but it builds up once I begin resistance training again. First off, the concept of this portable gym is great. It opens/folds down quickly. The plastic is heavy duty and not flimsy. The metal tie downs are robust and are holding up well. It is easy to clip the bands on and off of the carabiners, but they will snag occasionally due to the design of a carabiner. The bar that comes with it is heavy duty and welded on the ends. I was surprised how well made the bar is. The various handles are made well, but I think over time the single handles will probably snap. That is OK, as items break after heavy and repetitive use. Part of the reason I mentioned I weight lifted heavily in the past was for two reasons. One, the single bands don't provide much resistance. Several exercises (shrugs/deadlifts) I've already bumped up to the maximum six bands (three per side as stated by the company and have them weaved through almost every anchor point ('51234" combos) I can do with three bands per side and this is time consuming and awkward. However, it gets the job done and I can feel I'm 'strength training'. The cloth on the bands is bunched up and will snag on the tie downs through fluid motions and that is awkward. The ends of the bands will also snag on the tie downs. Two, I've done every exercise I want to do with the BodyBoss and am satisfied it gets the job done, except for one.... bench press. Looks as if I need to buy a separate portable bench in order to get ANY resistance for benching. As lying on the floor or a small cardio stepper isn't enough to activate any type of resistance for me. As for other exercises I have yet to try, I can imagine how they would work and am satisfied. Bottom line, this is a great home gym they put together for someone like me who wants to/needs to strength train. It won't replace heavy free weight training for someone who needs to move heavy iron, but is compact, portable, affordable and allows me to workout at home as it fits my lifestyle and..... the customer service is attentive, responds and very friendly. With improvements over time and stronger resistance bands this device will only get better.

Like most, I was a little hesitant in ordering but I'm so glad I did. Was paying $80 a month for a great gym but money is tight and I couldn't do it anymore. I did a lot of research on all the at home gyms and measured space in my tiny apartment and most either cost a fortune, wouldn't fit or were missing something. I just did my first workout and good gosh, I'm in love. You think, eh bands, but man oh man, the resistance is no joke. I'm so happy with this purchase. There was a little shipping mishap but the BodyBoss team quickly resolved it and then some. They are super nice and there to support you 100%. You don't get that often. In short, so stoked!

The product was fine, but was let down by the lack of workout ideas. No DVD or workout/exercise ideas

Amazing product. I can now work out at home easily. The bodyboss contains easy instructions for set up and for working out. I can now say good bye to my gym membership.

I ordered the Body Boss home gym as I’m a dementia nurse and working nights renders me unable to go and train safely plus I live miles from a gym. I also sustained an injury during my years as a casual bodybuilder. Admittedly I ordered this with some skepticism but I am so glad that I invested in this product. Lightweight, portable and with the capacity to allow you perform exercises to challenge all body parts..it’s perfect. Nothing like this on the market.

Be aware - the product name is "BodyBoss 2.0: The World's 1st Portable Home Gym - Extra Band Package"; but there are only two resistance bands inside - so this isn't the extra band package. I've given it 3 stars as the product looks good - it just means I've had to spend money buying more bands.

I love it, I’m getting great workouts BUT it only comes with 1 pair of bands???? I’ve had to buy a set of bands for it to be effective!

It’s light weight but provides a good workout getting back into training and not having to set up machines or heavy weights give it a go you will be impressed I was and still am

We have had our Body Boss set up for about a month now and we have been really enjoying it. It is very easy to clip the bands and move them around to where you need them. It is super easy to attach the grips or bar. Everything appears very well made. I love the sheet of exercises that comes with the Body Boss so you know what to do and when you are doing a certain exercise, which muscle group you are working on. We leave ours out and set up, but it takes seconds to fold the base and put it all away. There is a bag that holds all the pieces beyond the board that you stand on when doing the exercises. As advertised but pretty much not what I was hoping for. It’s better for someone seeking tools to slowly build muscle but not recommended for anyone looking to get fit or experienced and accustomed to using gym equipment or weights

I have been using this product for about two weeks and live it. I can unfold it, hook up the cables in the living room and work out while watching TV. I used to have a gym membership but now live too far away. I am not a heavy lifter and this is the perfect product for those who want to maintain strength without buying a gym membership or buying a huge home gym. Wife approved size.

After watching several videos and reading many reviews, I chose to buy the BodyBoss gym with an extra set of bands. I must say, opening the box and trying out the system was a great experience! As a personal trainer I was pleasantly surprise as I immediately saw and felt how this equipment can help my clients to perform many exercises that they would be otherwise unable to do at home, without heavy or expensive equipment. Even with using just 1 set of bands, the exercises still provided enough challenge for a good workout.The system is light and portable, easy to store, move, carry, and assemble. The carrying bag is very convenient, and changing the attachments is pretty simple, without causing significant gaps in the workout.With so many different attachment options, the getting started guides and online video support, I also feel confident recommending the product to clients to purchase and use on their own, whether or not they are training with me.I must also say, the customer service from the BodyBoss Team has been stellar! I've had a few check ins along the way, and have been able to speak with real people (not automated phone systems or impersonal auto-emails) I really appreciate the quick responses and assistance where I needed it!Overall great system so far, looking forward to continuing to use it to train myself and clients!

After reading many comments, I went ahead and bought the system. Extremely glad I did! It is fun, easy to adjust, space saving, simple and well made. I not a beginner but getting older... and I can't see how I could outgrow the system with the adjustments and the second set of cords. I was surprised at how sturdy the bar is. You can watch videos online but everything you do in a gym is easy to replicate. I had a problem with a wrist strap and the customer service was A-1 and friendly. Mailed a new one to me in a flash. Can't find a bad thing about this, we are a good match!

Am pleased with the quality - seems quite sturdy and yet so compact! Was afraid that it would be difficult to adjust tension/difficulty based on some video reviews I'd watched - but it's actually really easy. And just starting with one band is still a challenge - so I'm not worried about 'outgrowing' it. Everything except the board fits easily into the carry bag with room to spare. Tried a few of the introductory workouts available on clubbodyboss and find that it's really easy to do a full body workout - and definitely broke a sweat! I'm really excited to keep using this.

It's a super product for people who do not want to go to a gym, and do not have a lot of space at home. It has enough resistance power to give you a great workout. It won't replace barbells and such for a hardcore workout, but for most people with moderate exercise capacity, it will be enough. It takes absolutely no space for storage and setup is quick. I highly recommend it!

Like many people I work at a desk. Lucky for me it's at home. Every hour (when it's time to move!) I do a short 5 minute workout with the BodyBoss. I ordered the model with extra bands and love the versatility of this home gym.Smart product that offers a great workout without the weights!

Overall, I am very happy with the BodyBoss and can definitely get you a good workout without having a ton of equipment taking up space.I find that it is a little lacking for good chest excercises so I add in bench press twice a week. Otherwise this small, portable home gym is exactly as advertised.
