Great!
I love this thing!Pros: • looks super cool!• Sounds decent for a plastic ukulele• comes with aquele strings• can get wet• really wet• good action (I thought)Cons:• took a bit longer to stretch the strings than my mahogony kala• does have a slight tinny sound• resonance not as good as the mahogony uke• while it does drain water, there is a lip around the sound hole that makes things difficult.• if you submerge it too much and for too long, the bridge and tuning area can get water in them for potential mold growth.Overall opinion:This uke definetly takes the wow factor in looks, it's a novelty and it's great that it works properly on top of that. This uke has its downsides but I would still give it a chance, it plays well, I kind of like the tinny sound and if your brave enough tl fill it with water, playing it while it's full has a pretty cool sound. It's a great durable little toy of a ukulele and very worth it if say

Better than a toy!
By the time you buy 3 toy ukeleles at $20 a pop that WILL break you may as well just get a Waterman for $40 ish!!. It’s a real ukelele!! Can tune it and it holds. The strings do need to be stretched so if it doesn’t hold at first just give the strings a tug. I bought for my 1.5 year old for durability’s sake. He loves it and the bigger kids really can play with it with him bc it actually works. This is the 2nd waterman I’ve bought. Would absolutely continue to buy again.

ITS CUUUTE AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I bought this waterman for purely aesthetic reasons, and out of curiosity for what a good plastic uke sounds like. This is my 4th Uke and I have a couple of different sizes and woods. First of all if you want the best sound for a low price, mahogany is always the way to go. But I was REALLY surprised how great plastic sounds!! A deep, full sound here.Pros:-CUTE!! smallest Uke I own.-Aesthetic. This thing is beeauuuutifulll I can't wait to take pictures of it at the beach.-Gig bag. Not as fancy as some of my other bags, but the drawstring backpack is always a fav of mine since I got to a lot of festivals.- SOUND!!! This little guy sounds so good for a piece of plastic!Cons:-Tuned HORRIBLY out of box. Will update after the strings have stretched, but hooh it took a long time to get it in tune. And it didn't stay in tune long enough to get all the strings at once lol. I've only had it about an hour and that is getting better already.-Small scratch on body for mine. bummer.-Strings are pretty high off instrument, heads up. Pretty easy to press down though.-No strap. Uke leashes are a thing though.Overall I'm VERY pleased with this little dude!!! Will update with 5 stars if the strings stretch properly!!Update: its been about a week since I purchased this uke. As I hoped, the strings stretched out just fine! I also covered it in stickers. My final verdict is I love this ukulele and its uniqueness! I have also attached photos. Enjoy!

Absolutely love its looks but beware of quality.
1 YEAR UPDATE: As many reviewers mentioned, this Ukulele warps overtime, making the action super high which isn’t so fun to play. It is still playable, just wish the action wasn’t so high now that it’s slightly warped. I’ve had it for a year and I noticed it sometime in the fall after my first summer with it, so after that I loosened the strings when I wasn’t playing it. I haven’t played it for months and it’s now summer / pool season again so I decided to test it. It hasn’t gotten worse which I’m thinking loosening the strings helped, but I’m having to tune it every few strums. I still like it and plan on bringing it to the pool, but do know, you are paying for the brand and the cool looks, not so much for quality playability not durability.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This is the coolest ukulele for the right price! This is my 3rd uke and my second KALA. After reading several reviews I honestly expected less quality in the sound, but I was pleasantly surprised! Not only does it look cool as heck, but it sounds pretty decent in my opinion! I took it to the swimming pool yesterday and that was the true test! I really enjoyed bringing a uke with me without worrying about water splashing or getting sunscreen on it. It’s SOOO enjoyable to play and all my friends were very impressed with its looks! The only thing is, some of the silver paint on the frets has started to chip, even though I only received it 2 days ago. I figured this is normal and adding metal frets wasn’t really an option, but that won’t affect the playability so I’m cool with it. The Aquila strings are a nice bonus! Very affordable little instrument and a must-have for those of us who like variety and interesting/quirky things! It’s also going to look so fun on my wall, whenever I’m able to put it down! I highly recommend it as an extra ukulele to have around!

Tune it, retune it, retune it.
It's perfect for what I need it for, but before you use it tune it several times. These strings are shipped loose and need some time to adapt to the tuning. If you tune it once and take it out for an event the next day it won't be in tune. I tuned it 4 times before it held.i am happy with the product that's not a complaint just a tip.

Definitely Worth It
I've been playing ukulele for about 5 years now, and I can tell you, this one is worth the $40 I spent on it, no question. I'd be willing to spend $60 on a ukulele this nice. But let's get into it. This ukulele has a great action, a great sound, and a lot of personality. The sound is a little muted, but it's not quiet enough that no one will hear you if you play around a campfire. The fret board has given me absolutely no trouble, the tuning gears are really smooth to turn, and I haven't heard even a hint of buzz from this thing, which you almost always get with ukuleles under $50. Personally, I would recommend this to a beginner or a professional, because it's just that good.

Love it!
Perfect for playing outside without being afraid that the material will be affected by the weather. It sounds as good as my other ukulele made of wood. Love the style and look of it too!

Utterly fabulous!
Utterly fabulous! Can't believe how good this little instrument is for the money.I bought this type because the first thing I wanted to do was restring it to lefty, and after doing my research figured that the cool plastic one would be less likely to break with the restringing. It arrived next day and I restrung no problem. It sounds really good.I am a complete beginner and the strings go out of tune a lot when you first restring the instrument but now just over a month on stays in tune fine for much longer.I also got the snark Ukulele tuner which is also excellent and much better by miles than the app on my phone.Am really enjoying learning, it's good fun and quite compelling....and I'll be able to take it to the beach in the summer : )
