Luna Mo'o Mahogany Acoustic/Electric Concert Ukulele with Lizard Graphic & Gig Bag, Satin Natural

I already have a Luna electric acoustic guitar that I love. I was not disappointed by their tenor Ukulele. What a wonderful sounding instrument. Very much worth purchasing.

I love my Luna Mahogany Mo'o concert ukulele! I've played classical guitar and this is my first purchase of a ukulele. I did a lot of research before hand. I decided on the concert size because of the little bit deeper range of sound and the size seemed more comfortable. I had some choices narrowed down and went to youtube to try and hear if one sounded better to me. I know there are differences in audio quality and such but the Luna always seemed to sound much sweeter, the beautiful design was icing on the cake. It arrived secured well in its packaging and even has it's own thin gig bag (I have sense purchased a hard shell case). I was taken away with how beautiful this little instrument is! I tuned up the new aquila nylgut strings the first time and expected to have to do a lot of re-tuning until they stretched, but all the re-tuning has been very minor and now it holds perfectly from day to day, I'm so impressed! I borrowed a friend's lower quality soprano ukulele and you had to do major re-tuning after a song or two. Definitely not the case here. I have been wanting to play the ukulele for so long and almost got discouraged by the toy quality of the soprano, but, I finally got the funds to invest in better quality that will last and I have definitely found that with my Luna. And, yes, the sound in real life is very very sweet, it can also project if you want something loud. I am so looking forward to my journey of discovering all this ukulele can do.

This is a beautiful ukulele! The sounds are more warm and mellow then my soprano that I have in a different brand. With that all being said there are some flaws that I want to point out in order to help someone make their choice. It almost seems quieter then my smaller one, I think maybe something in the design, but not so bad as to make a huge difference so I let that one be. There are a few problems that may be deal breakers, and bare in mind, I may have got one that just didn't make it through a proper inspection. The frets were sticking out too far and sharp. Meaning they were not filed down and smoothed out enough after they were placed. There was a square piece of Chinese newspaper stuck inside that was a pain to dig out :( Again, they didn't recheck the thing or if they did they were in a hurry or something haha! Lastly, some of the strings make a buzzing sound if you strum to hard when playing certain cords, could be my technique and learning the best method for a new instrument (they all seem a little different) but I tend to think it is just a slight error in the way it was put together as I don't have this issue on the other ukulele's I own. I noticed it first when I played note by note as I was checking the sound of each string. So when I play it like I normally do it seems fine other then one bar chord, and when playing an A chord. When I move my finger a bit and strum softer it mellows out, glad I don't play that particular bar chord very often or it would be a problem. Now with all this in mind I do still like it, mostly the look but also the mellow warm tones are really nice as is the size, it fits perfectly to my body and much easier to hold and play then my smaller one.

Sounds way better than a Mitchle Uke. My friend had a Mitchle and I fell in love, but I don't have enough money, this was way cheaper and a lot cuter! Coincidentally the brand is Luna which is my favorite Harry Potter character. I wanted a Uke the moment I played my friends and i got free one day shipping with signing up with prime :DEnough about me this is a beautiful beautiful sounding instrument. It swept me away when I played the strings right after taking it out of the box. Yes they were lose but damn. I love it, it looks fake at first but after holding it in your arms a bit it's the realist thing ever. Easy to tune, stays in tune and it came with a bag! Idk if it said it would or not but it did lol and I am thankful cause I have a crazy cat that love anything vulnerable lol. I highly recomend. I'm just a beginner I haven't had this for more than 5 hours and I am so pleased I would give this a 10 star review. Maybe when I get better I will buy a more expensive one. But for now it was so worth the 80 some odd dollars I payed. Thank you Luna, IM IN LOVE, and I'm ALL SHOOK UP <3 sorry I had to I'm so excited.

I pre-ordered this through Guitar Center and then ran into so many issues with them... Didn't even think to check Amazon for it for a while. It came fast, of course, and I'm in so in love with it. Usually you have to change strings pretty quickly because the strings are put on in the factory and left for a long time, but mine have lasted a good month already. Beautifully made, comes with a gig bag and comes in the nice Luna Guitars box (inside of an Amazon box). I highly recommend this ukulele. It's such a nice design, perfect feel, quality wood... I'm so glad I didn't waste my money on a cheap ukulele. This one has made the experience of learning and playing so amazing. Great value for your money.

I absolutely loved this ukulele. I have had it for quite some time now, and it still sounds beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good ukulele that will last. It’s a great size, and has a beautifully warm sound. The fret boards are nice, and the design is barely noticeable while playing, so you don’t scratch your arm. Strings are strong, and I haven’t needed to replace them at all. It comes in a soft formed case with backpack straps so you can carry it on your back, and a handle next to the zipper to carry by your side. I’m extremely happy with this product!!!
