Novie, Interactive Smart Robot with Over 75 Actions and Learns 12 Tricks (Red), for Kids Aged 4 and Up

The media could not be loaded.  I actually ended up buying all three colors, the red, blue and purple. The red and purple I bought for my mother because they were something she was giving to my siblings, and I bought the blue one as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old cousin. All three absolutely love their little robots. It’s very easy to spend a good amount of time just teaching it tricks and watching it interact with other novies. My best friend and I are 17 and we spent an hour playing with these little robots. They’re a lot of fun and extremely entertaining. The tricks are really cute, and the different modes definitely help you learn how to control and command the novie. They’re sturdy, but I definitely wouldn’t let these fall from a great height. I did notice that when I wore my rings and they were facing the robot, it had a little more trouble reading some of my movements. But other than that little issue, these are incredible and I would highly recommend.

It looked cute and entertaining, the video explained it's use, and I bought it for a Christmas gift for a nearly 6 year old boy. Very much enjoyed I'm told by the father, who also tells me that THIS robot which is activated by proximity to a hand ....managed to follow around the more expensive "Cozmo" robot by Anki...providing extra entertainment as the two interacted, with this one REacting to where Cozmo would go. Smiles from the boy who received this robot. By the way it DID come with batteries, though our package said they were "required" but we bought a card of the inexpensive LR44's anyway from Amazon for longer life of the toy. GREAT value for the price when on sale..and probably even when not as it's priced reasonably.

I bought this for my 5 year old's birthday. Both he and my 7 year old love it. It's very cute and does a lot of fun things, but we haven't had any luck at all with the 'training modes' to teach it tricks. They do love to have it follow their hand motions though, and have even managed to get it to follow my 7 year old's bigger robot. We've only had it a few days and I think the batteries are already running out. They're pretty cheap to replace, but I definitely wish they had lasted longer. Overall a fantastic toy for the price.

Perfect for kids and mentally exhausted and sad people. Very freaking adorable and fun.

This is made for a seriously smart older kid (tweens & up) who believes in reading directions. I read the directions before I gifted it and I was still clueless about “teaching it” almost anything! A novelty.

My son absolutely loves this. His friends all day with it, I'm a grown up and I love playing with it too it is cute and fun to play with

I do like this robot, but only can give it a 4 star as it is super small & the color choices were limited, but all in all, my daughter enjoyed it thoroughly & has played with it several times already. He does do several tricks so it is easy to see why she continues to drag the little guy out.

This was bought for Christmas 2019 and at the time of finally getting round to writing this review in September 2020 I can say that it's been a great buy. Novie is one of those toys that the kids will play with a while, forget about and then take out of the toybox to enjoy all over again. Novie is very cute and quite funny too. Lots of fun.

My boys 5 and 7 love these. Have mastered all the tricks and still play with it months after buying. Original batteries still working, though did buy more just in case.

La verdad la calidad del producto no es muy buena, no duró ni un mes, y el robot se empesaba a volver loquillo, no hacía bien los comandos, los materiales no son de calidad. Pero para el rato está padre, solo que te saldrá caro por el precio, es mejor comprar el otro que es mas costoso, pero mejor calidad.

Bought this for a Christmas gift ~ smaller than expected, but hope it brings much enjoyment.

Its a very cute little toy bur Its hard to see the difference between the tricks which this robot does. All looks more or less the same. Batteries do not last.Would be a good purchase if it was rechargeable.
