A reflection on the year??
Look, I grew up in California, but come on. There is just such a thick pandering to left-leaning environmental concerns in this "Almanac". I get I'm all for it, Go environment, ok!When you skip out on so much to say "hey.... environment bad right now guys, gonna be worse" to people who buy almanacs, its annoying. How many privileged white women must work at Nat Geo, one wonders, BUT NOT without wondering about my effect on this mother earth, Gaia I'm sorry for all I've done past and present.I get almanacs for fun unique, quirky interesting facts from the last year. Some new some old, ok ladies, and persons of all gender self-described identities."From the mastodons hunted during the last ice age to...warming seas, the planet's life is under attack" pg 210. Mastodons died out millions of years ago, I think.Love you, Nat, but you can't be my almanac next year if you sound like the person we all try to avoid at the parties

Very much loved
This was a gift to an autistic young man and he loved it to say the least. He has texted me three times to thank me and tell me how much he loves this gift, he reads it over and over.

Visually stunning but lacking in hard data.
Much in the style of theNational Geographic magazine, the Almanac is rich in sizable photographic illustrations. But when compared to the World Almanac and Book of Facts, the NG Almanac offers much less comprehensive information. It's a great and attractive book for browsing through, but with many large-sized pictures there is scant room for also providing textural data. Use this attractive volume for a nice overview of the visual world and even the Universe, but when statistical data is needed, go to the World Almanac.

You need to buy this if you never owned an almanac!
It’s a great book (preordered this actually)! It’s kinda similar to the 2019 version, but they added some updated and awesome pictures and text. I love the cover; it’s literally durable as a tank, at least for me it is.Overall: Great book, great maps and data, and great pictures.

AMAZING!
WOW! I didn’t think anything could top Almanac 2019 but this is amazing! Love the Instagram photos, the tips on doing my part for climate change, and the quizzes! My only problem is I’m winning big at Trivia Night but gaining weight from all the free beer!

Very Interesting
Gave to father in law for a gift, but I am reading it too. So many different areas of interest. Not your ordinaryAlmanac. Nat Geo is top notch.
