Simthread Machine Embroidery Thread Polyester 63 Colours with Plastic Storage Box for Embroidery Sewing Machines

I do love simthread it a good quality thread but wasn't aware they are only 550yd ones as apposed to 1100yds then the box is really cheap and flimsy but I wouldn't buy again as it would be better buying threads elsewhere and get the bigger ones

What a difference this makes! I am a very much new to embroidery scene, and bought some thread from someone because I didn't know better. I thought every thread is the same, why bother. Oh how wrong I was. Machine was about to go back and I would forget it all, but then I searched and spent time comparing information and thought I'll get a box of Simthread. Nice selection of 63 colours.Box arrived, really well protected, excellent. Then I opened to box, and there was some freebies as well, couple of bobbins and spool nets. Nice touch.Each spool individually film wrapped and easy to find the start point. Tiny pull and ready to go. No problems threading of course, and I was a bit excited what will happen when I start the machine. First try M240ED and I was over the moon happy! There is no other way to describe my feeling because it was like a dream. From first stitch to the last one, not once I needed re-thread, no puckering, pulling, adjusting anything. No, everything was perfect. Remember I am a newbie with this, but it was so amazing, just swap the colours when needed and enjoy seeing how project was developing in the hoop.I have tested probably most of the colours and since the first spool, I have not bought any other brand. Why would I?Now couple of million stitch later, I am saying it still, this is the best overall thread I have tried. Absolute delight. Radiant colours, excellent value of money and again I am mentioning this caddy, it is a nice and easy way just pick up and go.

This is the second time I've bought a full set of Sim threads. I used most of the last set, so decided it was time for a new set. I just love the fact these come in a plastic storage box to keep them clean and safe. The set also came with a sample of thick stabiliser, a few thread nets and half a dozen spare bobbins. A nice extra, I thought.As for the threads, I love them. I put my machine on it's fastest speed but didn't have a single thread break. The colours are vibrant, with a lustrous sheen, and give a beautiful look to the finished piece. I sell most of the things I make, so quality and looks are everything to me. Throw in value for money and I'm a customer for life. I always think the best judge of a thread is to look at a black fill. I embroidered this on cheaper, craft felt, but just look at how great the mother and baby look... no gaps or bobbin seepage through from the back, and a good, crisp outline.Once again, I am over the moon with my Sim threads and will definitely buy again when this box starts running out.

Okay so I wasn’t sure what colours were going to turn up as let’s face it there’s so many colours to choose from!! I was personally over the moon with these colours as it had every colour I needed for my Disney embroidery machine!! Winner!! The threads are in tiered compartments and fit 2 to a section. As I already had a collection of colours I’ve added mine in at 3 to a compartment. Only thing that bugs me is the colour numbers are on the bases!! Which really peeves me when looking for a colour. Took about an hour to put them all in colour order but if you aren’t bothered and like rooting them they’re sound as muddled as they come!

The media could not be loaded.  I have a brother innov-is V3 and worried about not using the expensive threads. I have given these a good try and I am amazed at these beautiful threads for vibrant colour and variation but more so quality-they obviously suit my machine as I have yet to have a thread snap even at high speed as seen in the video they work perfectly! This set is even more fantastic as it comes with a great storage case that separates for easy viewing and compartment sliders to make the areas bigger for bigger threads! Also some stabilizer, bobbins and thread covers! Fantastic value for money and I am so glad I have found such a compatible thread for my machine that isn’t costly! Try them! You will not regret it! I cannot wait for the Metallics to be available to try!

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this set to use with my Brother embroidery machine . There is a great range of colours, the threads are of exceptional quality with a great sheen. They are strong and I didn’t have any breakages. I particularly like that they came in their own custom box, as all machine embroiderer will tell you storage is essential as they easily tangle!!I had previously purchased a smaller selection but this particular brand is really good and I will stick with these from now on.

The threads are lovely, great colours. Embroidered with no thread breaks and lovely results. But the storage box is terrible, one of the trays is misshaped and partitions don't stay in place.and the clips on the side of storage boxes are not very good,, pick the box up and bottom layer fell off, so threads would have been 5 stars but storage let it down

Already used up most of the first box so time to replenish my stash. I love the way this thread just glides through my Janome machine. Great stitch outs every time and washes well without colour fade.Added bonus are the freebies included : pre-wound bobbins, thread nets and stabilisers to start you off if new to the embroidery world.
