great idea, fabulous for card making
the mini scoring board is really nice, I keep it on top of my desk so I can just reach for it and not have to pull out the big one. I have both and love them both, but this one is really great for card making, to score smaller pieces of cardstock and patterned paper. I really like having the small bone folder that is stored right on the scoring board, so I'm not searching for my larger bone fold. these little time saving tools really cut down on my aggravation level so I can concentrate on making beautiful cards and not spend my time searching for things. it might be a small thing to others, but it really helps my creativity to have order on my desk. my mini scoring board stands up with other cardstock, my paper trimmer, my envelope maker, etc, in a rack made for holding cookie sheets and I love it.

Great Score Board to pack and take to workshops
This is a great size for travelling to card-making workshops as it fits well in my craft organizer. The bone folder easily slides off/on so you don't have to worry about losing it, as it's attached to the board. My only complaint (and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars) is that it is thinner than the larger size (12 x 12") Martha Stewart Scoring Board, which hasn't been an issue so far, but I worry about it breaking. I like the fact that the lines are in 1/8" increments consistently and doesn't skip to larger increments like the Scor-Pal Scor-Buddy Mini Scoring Board, which my friends have.

Works Great, Perfect Size
This is exactly the perfect size for making cards. It works best with medium weight or lighter paper. Heavier cardstock can be a bit tricky but it still works. I find the creasing tool wanders in the middle of the board on heavy paper. To fix this start at the top and go about 1/3 down, then go from the bottom to about 1/3 up, then carefully connect the creases. The envelope maker on the back is simple to use, just pay attention to the lines you need to follow.

Dissatisfied again with Martha Stewart!
Nearly a waste of money. I bought it for the size, small to keep handy on my crafting table. None of my bone folders work well with it, and with the 1/8 inch grooves, my bone folders keep slipping over into the next groove, and before I know it, my paper scoring is all wonky. I find myself reaching for my Scor-Pal scoring board more. May throw this into the recycle bin! Yuck!

Good but don't count on the clip to hold the bone folder
This is a good scoring board for card making or small scrapbook pages. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is because the clip that is supposed to store the bone folder broke off immediately when I slid the bone folder off of it

Sweet size
I have had the large Martha Stewart Scoring Board for some time. I love it but do not like the scoring tool - it is too sharp - both for the section that you press along the paper - it can cut the paper too easily - and for the area where you rest your finger while scoring. I ended up sanding down the scoring area and the opposite side for my finger and I no longer waste as much paper and my fingers survive better too.I don't care for the huge size of the original scoring board in a small working area, so I bought the mini to use once larger papers are scored and cut so I can put it away. I really like the new scoring tool and the hook to attach it on the outside for easy access. I don't know if I would like it as a replacement for the large one, but it is a great accessory! I am taking it on a retreat in a few weeks. I think that I can do a bit of math to compensate for it not being very wide and it should be all right. In a pinch, I use my Fiskar's trimmer for the long scores.

We all just love it. It's absolutely indispensable for making cards and ...
I bought one of these and was so impressed I bought 4 more! One for each of my daughters and one for my neighbor. We all just love it.It's absolutely indispensable for making cards and I love that it has the instructions for making envelopes. I use mine a lot for making little boxes for trinkets and little gifts and also the little gift tags. It comes with a bone folder that stores easily in it's own little slot.. so handy.I also have the mini and I think they are both wonderful. If you like make cards you're gonna' love this!!

The mini score board is a great tool for scoring cardstock. I like the compactness of the board.
