Woodworking: Projects: 2 Paperback – Import, 13 August 2019

My dad has really gotten into woodworking since his retirement, so I got him this book for Christmas. He was so excited, he started reading it right then, completely oblivious to the merrymaking going on by the rest of the family. At one point, he drew my husband into a discussion of the ingenuity of one of the projects featured in the book. This book is definitely full of some great projects, and detailed illustrations. I made sure to dog-ear the pages of the projects I wanted before heading home. I hope if you read this book then you can learn more. Thanks author for creating us a new book for all of us!

I bought this for my husband who wants to get into woodworking. He has been pouring over his book for weeks and is learning a lot. It's been a great resource for learning everything for the very beginner.

Pictures do not match the plans. Assembly instructions for each project are mostly useless. The author calls for board A or board B etc in the assembly instructions yet never tells the reader which cut pieces are boards A, B, C, etc. And after reading through the plans, the entire book seems to have been written as an advertisement for pocket hole jigs and screws.

I did t think it was that great of book. I’ve seen better projects in woodworking magazine with better detail.
