This series of books is amazing! It had me hooked from the very first page! The storytelling is immersive, the characters are well-developed, and the plot is full of twists that kept me turning the pages. If you love fiction that keeps you engaged and entertained, this is definitely a must-read. Highly recommend!

Currently nearing the end of Book II, and I reckon I'll read the whole series now. The writing is good enough, the plot intriguing, and the characters have depth.Every now and then the story-telling seems a bit lazy, like oh "the reason this particular wall was hard for us superhero's is because, it just so happens, the boots broke, but only enough that one of us could make it".They can feel like a bit of a stretch, these moments, but minor enough to ignore.I recommend the series, as long as you don't require pristine story-telling. If you do, go for the "3 Body Problem" series, instead, or books like it.

What an incredible storyline! I don’t remember when I was last time so excited to read! Amazing plot twists, instantly got me hooked! Absolutely loved the world created by the author and all the characters.

This series has single handedly created my love for reading. For context I'm 30+ and for most of that time have never read. I've never been proud of it but long ago I accepted it was never going to be for me and I'd always find it dull. My friend had been pushing me to try some of his recommendations for years but I'd never budged. Then one evening he wouldn't shut up about the Red Rising series and for some reason I gave in. I bought the first book, got half way through and ordered the rest. I was hooked and I've been reading a book a month ever since. An incredible series.
