These can help with low arches, too
It surprised me how comfortable these were after reading some cautionary reviews! Here's my complimentary, 98% satisfied take after a couple weeks of moderate use. (2% subtracted because I accidentally trimmed one a little too much, so my toes can feel the edge and that annoys me.)••• These are pretty rigid and the arch is well defined. I'm new to the insole game so I don't have much to compare it to, but I liked it since I'm trying to correct my gait and posture!••• They help put a springy pep in my step. No discernible break in period for me.••• I can't speak to plantar fasciitis relief but haven't experienced any incidental heel pain in these, while my softer 3/4 arch supports do cause heel discomfort sometimes.. some anecdotal data for you••• Definitely rather wide and a bit tall. I'd only get them if your shoe has ample wiggle room in all directions or laces to loosen for the same effectIn fact, I bought these to help fill some excess room in a new pair of leather booties. The boots were the most comfortable, accommodating, perfectly-wide-in-the-toebox-even-though-they-look-so-narrow-toed thing I'd ever put on -- but actually TOO roomy and with no arch support. My handy dandy 3/4 arch supports didn't work well since my foot was acting a fool up in there with all that space. So I decided to give these insoles a try and hope I could break them in or something. I have a flexible almost-flat foot, not high arches at all.••• That's something I was wondering before buying: could this possibly be suitable for low arches too? I didn't see any relevant reviews and I don't have a podiatrist. I think it depends but it worked for me.••• For reference, I have low arches that roll in when standing but all my shoes wear out on the outside edge. It's probably these dang ole bunions wreaking foot havoc. Does this sound like you??? I'd be extremely surprised if it did but in that case you could try these••• I think they'd also work if you've had a neutral or softer arch insole and didn't think it was quite supportive enough. Why not go a step up (ha) and try one of these strong, higher arched ones just in case it works outYeah so anyway it turned out a match made in heaven: after trimming to make these just a bit more narrowed at the toe, the boot leather was pliable enough to squeeze these in and roomy enough to still fit feet comfortably. When I pulled the shoes on I was kinda blown away by how good these insoles felt. Full coverage!! Yes, my foot got pushed against the top of the shoe a little and these insoles aren't *particularly* cushiony, but they feel really comfy supporting the foot. It's like eating a nice salad... it's no cheesecake, but dang, I do enjoy a good salad too.

Excellent arch support for high arches
I have very high arches. Shoes are usually not comfortable, really, without adding arch support of some kind. I purchased pretty expensive arch support additions for my tennis shoes and really liked it, but they were very pricey. These offer the support I need at a level that I can afford to buy several pairs at once and put them in favorite shoes. I am very happy. I have hear they work for low, no arches as well, but have not tried it yet. I will give a pair to my boyfriend's teen son tat suffers from flat feet to see if these are successful for him, too.

These work for me
Knowing that our feet are a lot different than we think... For what my feet need and with the different types of inserts, I think these are the best for me...They're a stiff insert but not like a piece of wood.. If you need a high arch, these will work fine.. As for total comfort through out the day, I do quite a bit of standing with little movement sometimes and these keep my feet in comfort longer than the rest... They're thin so you only have to loosen your shoe strings to get them to fit or you can remove the shoe insert and just use this... You'll know what'll work once you get them..I have 5 pairs and getting some more soon cause the old ones are starting to get a little worn out and I like to have a pair in all of my shoes... The ones that are getting worn out, I've had for a year+, they were my first pairs and I had to swap them out with my work boots on a daily basis. so they never got any rest and I had to used them in my other shoes when I wasn't wearing my work boots...The big thing is, they're like the ones my doctor prescribed, so that helps...Like I say, everyone's feet are different but if the doctor wants you to get an insert that's stiff and high arch, these are what you want...

Prefer this to my $600 custom orthotics
I have chronic foot and ankle issues. Last year I got custom orthotics from my podiatrist, where they take a mold of each foot and then have the inserts created from that. I bought a pair of these to put in my yard work shoes. After using these for a day I found that my feet felt better than they did with my expensive inserts. I think the issue for me is that the custom ones exactly match my relaxed foot shape, which might not actually be the support I need when I'm on my feet. I bought 3 more pairs and now my expensive inserts are in a drawer. This is definitely specific to my situation. I don't think there's a universal best option for everyone. Unfortunately, you'll probably need to try a few things before you figure out what's best for you. However, with how little these cost, I'd recommend everyone who needs orthotics give them a try.

Just an insole. Do not buy if you are flat footed.
If you have no foot arch, are flat footed and suffer from ankle pain from over pronation these will not work for you.Nothing Against SB SOX, I have used their other products and they make excellent products with exception to these SB SOX Plantar Fasciitis & Arch Support Shoe Insert Insoles. They use the words "Arch Support" in their description of the product which is why I bought two pairs. Unfortunately, these do not offer sufficient arch support to be labeled as "Arch Support Insoles". I explain why below. If you do buy these try this test first before inserting the insole into your shoe.Place the new insole flat on the floor and then place your foot on top of it. Now stand up straight. You will see that the insole flattens completely like a pancake! They are too thin and not rigid enough to maintain the arc curvature of the "Arch support".After wearing these for 2 hours my feet and ankles were killing me. I had to return home and take them out. I am returning both pairs.
