Great scent
The packaging of this product is fantastic. I will be buying some as Christmas gifts. The scent is strong depending on how much you use and long lasting. I highly recommend.

Very light
To be honest, when I first opened the bottle and sniffed, I was disappointed. The scent seemed watered-down, and smelled to me more like cedarwood than patchouli. I did not detect grapefruit at all. Then I sprayed it on, and waited. Unlike some scents that dissipate after spraying, this one seemed to intensify. It remained a light scent, but lost that "watery" scent it had straight from the bottle. Note that this will never have the full patchouli scent I remember from the 70s, but I was wearing pure patchouli oil then, whereas this is a diluted blend. But on the up side, this blend is probably more widely acceptable to people because it's not as intense. People tend to either love or hate patchouli, and I think even those who aren't so fond of it won't find this scent overpowering. It's a very warm, woody, earthy scent, but not at all heavy. To be honest, it is overpriced. This is essentially water with a few drops of essential oils and a small amount of carrier oil (fractionated coconut oil) which makes your skin absorb the essential oils better. I think about half the price would be more fair, considering the volume of water and tiny amounts of more expensive ingredients. You could literally make it at home. You do have to shake it well because oil and water don't mix. I'm not sure I'll buy it again simply because I'm bothered by the excessive price. For less money you could buy all the ingredients and make multiple bottles at home. I'm not trying to tank the company or anything; I'd happily purchase this again for convenience's sake, but not at this price. I hope they consider a more reasonable price point.

Not for Me
I didn't like this scent at all. All I could smell was something that smelled like a cleaner and something woodsy. Maybe I was too young in the 70's to remember patchouli, but this is a different scent than I've grown up with in the 80's, 90's and..well, you get the pointThe ONLY reason I'm giving 5 stars( and other sellers of perfumes and lotions TAKE NOTICE) this lovely company allows for RETURNS!While this scent isn't for me, I would recommend these sellers 100% everytime!!

Used to be better…
I’ve purchased this and many other scents from this company. The smells are great but, as numerous others have stated, they don’t last all that long…not a big deal as they’re affordable but it kinda sucks having to carry one around in case you want to reapply. As for The Wood Life, the last one I got is extremely separated and will not mix for me no matter how much vigorous shaking I do. It smells strong of vanilla and very faintly of cedar wood or pachouli. Not sure what changed but I suspect the coconut oil is different. I may explore other options if this is a sign of what to expect.

No Fragrance?
I am So Very Disappointed! I followed the directions and shook the bottle as hard and fast as possible, then sprayed it no more than 2 inches away from my nose and smelled NOTHING! Then I sprayed in on my wrist. No smell!!! I finally sprayed it on my pillowcase until it was a large, round, wet spot. Finally I could smell Something? I am not able to identify the smell at all?? It smelled neither good or bad, but it really didn’t matter because whatever the fragrance was, it went away within a few moments, even though the pillowcase was still wet!! Then I read something on the bottle that was rather disturbing; it said to talk to your doctor before using! WTH??? Has anyone who’s bought perfume, room freshener, even incense that tells you to Talk To You Doctor Before Use If you’re Pregnant or have ANY MEDICAL Conditions! For me, that statement deserves a WTF!! It goes to say that it hasn’t been approved by the FDA??? What difference would that make? I didn’t buy it to Drink it!! Please save your money or go to a different Company on Amazon!! There is a Wonderful Company on Amazon if you’re looking for Nag Champa items! I Love that Company, but I don’t think they would let my review go through?!
