It is very sturdy and protects the blades. Also, my knives won't be poking through the fabric like they do with many other knife rolls.

Closing it can be a struggle at first when it's still super stiff. But it's durable. The side pocket is great. Love this roll

Very sturdy, good protection, and holds a good amount. Comfy to hold and carry and is pretty too. The only thing is I don't really like the belt style to close the bag because it does limit you and how much I can put. So there are some things I can't put inside because it's hard to close.

I am not a professional chef and don't anticipate using this on a very frequent basis, but I do like to bring my knives for cooking on vacation, various cooking classes, and when I cook for school or church events.The construction on this knife roll is very very good. It's durable and has excellent fit and finish. The stitching is very good, and there were no loose or hanging threads. I expect it to last a very long time.I used this for the first time when attending a cooking class, and every professional chef in the kitchen made a comment (favorable) about this knife roll. I had complete confidence that my knives would be well protected during transport, and that confidence was rewarded. I definitely recommend edge protectors for all of your knives in this roll.

So I just got this today and will update the review later on. First impressions. The roll is awesome it fits all my stuff I take on a daily basis. It feels really sturdy. Down side the stitching is attached to a thin piece of fabric instead of a thicker piece of canvas. If you have rubberized grips on your knives then it's a real pain to put them in the slots. Bought as a gift for a chef friend.There are many pockets of varying sizes, which works well. The stitching is sturdy and well made, and there's a nice window that can be used for putting your name on.The fabric very much holds its shape and it's very sturdy.

I am a culinary student and purchased this knife roll because I liked the way it looked and the reviews were good. I got this at the end of December and it’s only been a month and the handles are ripping off the bag. I have my everyday tools in there and it isn’t over packed. I do take very good care of my things so I would recommend looking elsewhere for a knife roll and don’t waste your money. very disappointed in the product.
