These small pots are ok - a good value for what I paid for them. Positive - inexpensive, good colors. The negative- the large drainage holes. Most of the bottom of the pot is holes. Thus, until your newly planted plant gets rooted properly, the water will likely be lost in the saucer. I always have done this - but highly recommended for this product - is put small stones in the bottom of the planter pot. it helps with drainage. I also had to place a flat plastic piece (I use plastic placemats and cut accordingly) under the pot. Especially needed on my windows that have oak wood sills. This gives it an extra layer of protection if there is too much water. (The saucers hold very little water) I will use to give starter plants to friends and family.

I raise a lot of plants from seeds and these little pots are great for that and can be reused over and over.

My only complaint is that I was sent what appeared to be an order someone else had returned- the base colors didnt match up to the post so some are mis-matched color wise, & there were 1 or 2 missing all together of the small plates.Otherwise, they are perfect, arrived quickly, and were exactly what I needed. They hold small plant starts well, & are cheap while still looking pretty nice. Way better than thin plastic starter pots that crinkle & crack.

Purchased to be used for a group to make Christmas Table Decorations. Ideal size for florists foam and very stable and good price. After Christmas can be used for plants
