CoverGirl Exact EyeLights Regular Mascara, Black Sapphire 710 (for Blue Eyes), 0.24-Ounce Packages (Pack of 3)

Like the reviewer from February of 2014 I, too, experienced difficulty with ordering this and receiving what was advertised. I initially got one mascara rather than three. However, when I inquired about the problem with amazon.com customer service, they apologized and made sure to send me three (meaning I have four now and got an extra one for all the trouble) the next day. My problem was solved in less than 24 hours! I love this product and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find in drugstores and beauty supply stores so I'm glad amazon.com can provide an alternative for me that is affordable. I hope that through this feedback they make sure future orders of the "pack of 3" come how they should, and my next review would surely be 5-stars.

I ordered this on Subscribe and Save because of the good reviews and it is hard to find colored mascaras that don't cost a fortune. I have found CoverGirl mascaras to be the best for me. At first I was disappointed as it seemed to barely show-however, I should have remembered that nearly every mascara I have used-take some time to get "just right" appearance-wise. The same can be said here. After several half-hearted attempts to use, it suddenly looks just like i want it to. Sure enough, I will continue buying this through Subscribe and Save!

This is my go-to mascara! My eyes change from green to hazel regularly and this mascara helps bring out the green. I normally bend the head of the brush a little to match the shape of my eye before using it. After a really long day it does tend to flake a little which then irritates my eye, which is why it only gets 4 stars instead of 5!

I got these for blue eyes. Color of the mascara is best described as midnight - a deep blue-black.However, the brush is not fine enough to separate lashes, and I have to use a lash separator. I use this one:  Seki Edge Folding Lash Pin Comb Regardless very nice for the price. I prefer this over one of the highest rated mascaras, which I've had in both blue & black:  Christian Dior Diorshow Mascara Backstage Makeup - Black (#090) 0.38 Fluid Ounce (11.5ml) Brush

Delivered quickly and a great price. Just not sure if this is in a state of drying out as you don't get very much on the brush when using it. Normally I wipe additional mascara off of the brush when applying other brands but this one requires 'dipping' the brush several times.Definitely like the color (purchased Black Ruby for Green eyes) and the brush itself is AWESOME! Finally, a brush that isn't bigger than my face.

Perhaps it's due to the structure of my eyes or skin, but all mascara seems to flake and/or smudge on me, even the "waterproof" types. The waterproof mascaras that promise volume, length, etc. are the worst for flaking/smudging on me. This one does so least of all that I've used. I have pale skin and light blue eyes, so both the Ruby and the Sapphire of this mascara provide a "hint" of color to my face, without being glaringly unnatural or obvious. Oh, and my eyes are very sensitive to a lot of makeup; this mascara does not irritate my eyes or skin.

I bought 3 and they seemed thick and kind of dried out - or dried out quickly after opening it. I love this mascara so I'm not sure what went wrong- maybe they were old...

This used to be my favorite mascara once I could no longer find navy blue mascara - plain black is too harsh to my thinking. Anyway, I could no longer find it in the stores and apparently CoverGirl has stopped making this product. I have no idea where the 3 packages I ordered came from - looked like pickers had maybe found them in a dumpster or fire sale. Contents pretty dried-up, very disappointed.

Product arrived as expected and in a timely manner.
