Size:4 Pack When you're gauging water pressure, you don't have time to waste. The Flotec Well Water Pump Pressure Gauge saves you time and pipes. The water pressure gauge has a clean 2-inch diameter interface that measures 0 to 100 PSI. This adaptable gauge is meant to accompany indoor or outdoor submersible pumps. Along with being easy-to-read and for indoor/outdoor use, this gauge includes an adapter to convert to 1/4-inch NPT. When this gauge isn't befriending your deep well jet pump, it's monitoring both the pump and water pressure for optimal function. Just because wells run deep, doesn't mean you need to tap out your pockets. Save your pipes and time, with the Flotec Water Pressure Gauge.

I ordered one of these presure gauges for my well ...
I ordered one of these presure gauges for my well pump system. Today I got the chance to install it. Although the item seemed new and came in new packaging threads seemed really oxidized? I thought this was a bit strange to see on a new item. I decided to install it anyways and it's working as it should.I'm rating this 3 stars due to the fact that the threads were oxidized. One would expect to see shiny brass threads on a brand new item that has never been installed before.

Good guage for irrigation pump
I installed a Sta-rite irrigation pump on an old, out of service system that had two wells attached. I had a lot of trouble getting an airtight system after initially drawing water and having the pressure gauge helped particularly during this phase of installation. I ended up having to disconnect one of the wells and replacing the old PVC piping from the ground level to the check value. My biggest problem was solved by using Tplus2 Pipe Thread Sealant on all threaded connections.

Leaks like a sieve
As other have said the fittings are very oxidized. I wrapped all threads in teflon tape and put it back together tightly but it still leaked slowly. I gave it an extra turn which seemed to stop it but after a week I went into the laundry room and found a huge puddle on the floor... yep, it is leaking like a sieve now.

It works well for my application.
The internal pressure switch for my cabin's water pressure pump failed. I had read that the build in pressure switch for that particular pump had a high failure rate so I decided to install an external well pump pressure switch. While I was at it, I wanted do be able see the water system pressure inside the cabin so I purchased this Brands2O TC2104-P2 Well Pump Pressure Gauge. The well pump pressure switch was factory set to turn on at 40 PSI and shut off at 60 PSI. This gauge agrees closely with the pressure switch so I figure it is relatively accurate. It has been in use for several weeks now and shows no signs of internal or external leaks. For the price, it is a decent pressure gauge.

Stay away from this guage
Would give this negative stars if I could. It is a POS. Installed OK, noticed a drip under pressure tank after about three weeks. Thought it was condensation...Got down and investigated closely and noticed that the gauge was leaking. Put a wrench on it to tighten it slightly and it blew off in my face. I do the panic dance trying to shut down the pump and fortunately confine old faithful to one room. That little adapter you see in the picture was cast improperly and was cracked prior to installation. It was made in China.... There are several other posts in the "one star" section that had exactly the same thing happen to them. I was able to use my old Harvard gauge to replace it. Fortunately i was there when it let go. I would have been out a lot of dough if this went when i was away. Stay away from this part.

leaks
I bought this in Oct of 19 never got around to installing it until 2-15 21 (the other gauge still worked just showing its age). Now 3-7-21 I find this has a steady drip coming from it. I thought it could have been from the threads, so I removed it and put extra teflon tape on threads. Still leaks it appears it is leaking internally so I would not recommend this pressure gauge at all.

Poor Quality Control
Mine was delivered with the needle stuck at under zero psi with movement of the needle blocked by the peg. Did not notice this until I had installed it. Once my well got around 50 pounds the pressure pushed the needle past the post and, in the process, bent it. I would return it for a refund if it were worth my trouble. Recommend you buy a better quality gauge.

Possibly used item.
The NPT connection was rusted at the bottom and some of the socket was broken. It seemed used and not new. I used Teflon tape and installation was ok, with no leaks. The pressure measurement is about 4 PSI below what it should be, compared to an accurate gauge that I also use on same line. So I always add 4 to number the gauge is showing. The two stars are for the price and timely delivery..

No Faith
After installing the gauge and believing that it was working properly, I was surprised when the needle failed to return to 0 when the water supply was closed and disconnected. I removed the gauge completely but there was no change, the needle still pointed at 10 psi. After tapping the gauge countless times, the needle finally returned to the lowest or 0 point.Since then, it seems to be working properly, and returning to 0, but did my tapping it affect something else?Is this normal?

items was used
items arrived out of box and with strong signs of being used; I could not used the gauge since it is to use with water pressure and has to be reliable; otherwise, if the gauge was working properly, something could go wrong. I paid for new and received used; have returned it.

All plastic
It seems a toys. The picture on web seems metal casing but it is really all plastic. Very cheap. I am returning and buying a good one stain steel casing

Not for exterior use??????
Because this gauge was for a well pump, I expected it to be rain proof. It is not. After one rain the gauge was 20% full of water. I needed to put a plastic bag over it.
