These mounts are worth their weight!
I love these mounts! The footprint is very compact and they come with the hardware for just about any type of speaker mounting installation. ^They are very sturdy.I bought a set of 4" Infinity bookshelf speakers that I wanted to mount on the walls of my entertainment room for the surround sound system (one in each corner near the ceiling). Along with them, I bought the only set of wall mounts available at the electronics store at the same time (and any other local store for that matter). It was a set of SIIG mounts made of some type of polymer, rated for up to 8 pounds (my speakers may be close to that - maybe 5 lbs but no way do they weigh more than 8 lbs). They have a little shaft that secure with an allen bolt. Well for one, those plastic mounts couldn't hold the speakers at the angle I wanted - they would slowly flop down. When I tried to tighten them some more, one stripped. This left me with a morbid image of one of those little shafts sliding off the bolt and having the speakers come crashing down on my wife or one of my daughter's head some day. I just couldn't live with that. Then after looking at dozens of different brands, I found these mounts. They are metal mounts, easy to install and very solid. They hold the speakers at about a 45 degree angle very well - the angle does not change even when applying a little force after tightening them. Aside from actually being able to serve their purpose, they have given me peace of mind, as I don't see these coming apart like their plastic counterparts. They are worth every penny.

The perfect mount!!!
I have a set of Klipsch WB-14 bookself speakers that I wanted to mount on the wall for my front speakers in my home theatre setup. They weigh approximately 13 pounds each and I was having trouble finding appropriate mounts for their weight. Most are for small satellite speakers and are rated to 11 pounds, and the ones that I almost bought were overkill on a grand scale, the clamping type that can handle speakers up to 35 or 55 pounds. But those werent adjustable enough to get the tilt on needed to aim the speaker down to our listening area.I am so glad that I finally found these. Beefy to say the least, solid metal and well made. The tilt is great and the hardware included is first class. I will be buying another set of these for the matching center speaker. Thank you Vantage Point!!!!

Very robust and dependable speaker mount
I have purchased two sets of these speakes mounts. The first set was back in Nov '09 and the second set was just this past week in Feb '11 for another set of set speakers that will be mounted shortly. Both sets of mounts will hold four idential speakers: Sony SS-U3030 bookshelf units from the 90's. These speakers weigh about 10 pounds each which is well within the weight spec of these mounts. With proper tightening of the swivel bolts, the older mounts have not sagged one tiny bit. One of my speakers is mounted over a doorway and there is very little clearance between the bottom of the speaker and the top of the door. The clearance is about 3/4" so it is easy to see any sag. If it sags then the door hits the speaker. The mounts are made of heavy metal and thick strong allen head bolts hold the swivel adjustments steady. If you don't like the orientatin of the bolts you can flip the mount around, take it apart, and mirror it any way you want. I needed to do this so the bolt heads are accessible from the bottom and away from the corner of the wall. This flexibility is very welcome. You will receive some extra mounting brackets to facilitate other speaker mounting orientations and methods. Also included are way too many extra bolts which is nice. The only bolts they did not include were toggle bolts. I used toggle bolts to attach the mounts to my sheet rock walls.I do not jnow how well these mounts can hold a 25 pound speaker but I imagine it will do the job just fine. Simply tighten the bolts and you should be fine. These brackets are great and I even came back to the same make/model when I needed more. Still, I can only give them four stars. Why? First, I wish they had given 3" toggle bolts. Second, the speakers will be around 3.5" away from the wall. If you have big bulky hands then getting access to the bolts with an allen wrench may be cumbersome. As with any hardware project, be patient, mock it up first, and have fun!

Can’t buy better
These mounts are awesome. I have 4 holding bookshelf speakers. 2 are 13 pounds and they haven’t sagged at all in the 6 months they’ve been hanging. They’re all metal and heavy, seem to be built to last. I’m confident they’ll continue to be amazing. They came with a few different mounting heads and dozens of different screws, bolts, and washers. It makes me sad to see they’re currently unavailable because I would buy these again in a heartbeat if the need arose.

These are NICE!!!
After reading dozens of reviews, selecting, purchasing and then returning a pair of Omnimount 30.0 WA-IFK/B mounts (they were good quality but the mounting plate was too large for my speakers) I purchased these mounts.First off, these are cast metal rather than the plastic most other satellite speaker mounts are made of. An impressive variety of adapters are provided (all of which are well thought-out, well made and nicely finished heavy-gauge metal). Also included is a bag of assorted mounting and installation hardware. The instructions are okay and depict installation through drywall to a wood stud or directly in to concrete; probably because the mounts are rated for 25 lbs they don't want anyone to consider using drywall anchors.
