Definitely needs a pump (our bike pump has an adapter that works for such purposes) as the necessary pressure to keep the turtle roof supports rigid is pretty high. All the reviews complaining about the roof falling over likely did not properly inflate it (the supports inflate from the wall section) and/or have a leak. The inflatable bottom (separate inflation valve) is a great feature to cushion the baby from whatever surface the pool is on. I would echo another reviewer that mentioned the only hassle being there is no way to train besides bailing it out with a bucket or tipping it.Ours stays inflated for days, though I've never tested the duration as I've manually deflated it before ever needing to top it off.

It works as a small pool, but the bottom tube and the support structure are one single inflatable compartment. This makes it very difficult to put enough air pressure to hold up the cute turtle. I was literally dizzy after set up. We went out to play the next day and the turtle was on the ground. I had to re-blow up the pool every time we want to play in it. It would be better without the canopy.

The bottom/floor did not inflate. The tube part and turtle part filled up properly with air.It is cute. The turtle protects the baby from the sun. It comes with about 3 inflatable little round puff toys too.I would use this for a child under 18mo. only. It is not that large or deep.

It doesn't take up much storage space for the size of the pool. We didn't have many opportunities to use it before the weather got too cold, but my son enjoyed it - especially the little inflatables that velcro onto it. We use those as bath toys.

We bought the pool as a gift and when they blew it up, the turtle at the top deflated in minutes and has a hole in it. The pool is great and shipping was fast, but the pool is out of the return time so we're stuck with a pool that has a hole.

The pool holds water, as advertised, so there's at least that. Our daughter loves the colors and the little inflatable toys that come with the pool. I strongly suggest investing in an air compressor if you haven't already done so. It's a beast of a pool to blow up by mouth.

I really like the pool but didn't get to use it with my baby because the bottom part didn't inflate. Soon as I get my refund I'm gonna give it another chance and buy another one.

This pool is very small, tiny..perfect for a young baby. My only issue is that the turtle does not stay up, and tilts and falls to the side. It's too heavy to stay supported the way it is in the picture.
