I’ve purchased 7 of these shelves in various sizes and colors for my home. I’ve been very happy with their design, size range, ease of installation and load capacity.I noticed that if using the 36” + lengths as a bookshelf without mounting on studs, you will notice a little sagging forward, but I simply removed a few heavy books and it looked great.When a shelf arrived with a dented corner, customer support responded within a few minutes and shipped me a brand new one within a day, no questions asked. I really appreciated their prompt and thorough and effortless support without having to jump through hoops.

If you are looking for shelves that are sleek, ultra modern and strong, these are it. They can either blend into the background because they are so thin, or make an artful statement against a contrasting wall color or texture. The metal is an unexpected material makes these shelves extra special. Be sure to look at all the pictures. The 2" support lip/bracket is bent at a right angle and screws into the wall . That's it. Simple and elegant. I looked for a long time for 48" long shelves that would not sag and have a modern, sleek appearance. I did not want traditional brackets, plain Big Box type shelves or those thick, gloppy (2") floating shelves that hide the bracket in a hollow shelf. In floating shelves at 48"L, anything thinner than 2" thick sagged. The answer is powder-coated STEEL. These are very stylish and well priced for the quality. I like that they can be mounted with the lip up or down (I chose down for my kitchen). The white powder coat is smooth and durable. Be aware that the 2" lip/bracket has exposed screw holes (5 of them on the 48" size) that give these shelves a slightly industrial look. The screws are visible no matter how you mount them and become part of the design. I do wish the screws were white to blend in more (I may paint mine). Also, you need to buy your own screws. No problem, just fyi. We mounted ours into 2 studs and used quality drywall anchors for the other 3 holes. They are solid as a rock and are supposed to hold up to 70 lbs. I love the look of these shelves. They really make a design statement (in a minimalist kind of way!). Ours are on drywall above some beautiful white tile in an abstract wavy 3D pattern. I think these would also look amazing mounted on textured or distressed surfaces like tile, concrete, brick or wood. If you want your shelves to add dimension to your space, these may be too thin for you. But if you are looking for a super sleek, simple, modern shelf to display objects or keep things within reach, I think these are the best ones around.

I love these gold shelves! I purchased two of these in gold to create the desired look for our basement wet bar. They are sleek and sturdy. As you can see they are able to hold multiple bottles and are the perfect size. I would definitely recommend as they are also easy to install.

Bought 2 of these 48" shelves. One was damaged during shipping, and DIY Cartel was great to deal with. They made it right!Sturdy and streamlined. They are so well crafted that we could hang them side-by-side and the edges lined up to create a smooth line. A great addition to a modern room.

These shelves for very heavy duty, and I ended up returning them because they were bigger and heavier than I expected. They seem like they were very good quality.

Here is what I wrote to the company owner:Dear Jordan,My beautiful steel angle shelves are now installed, and I am very pleased. Photos attached.A little history about my NYC tenement kitchen.Many years ago I decided to move the stove away from the window, seen on the left of the photo. We extended the black iron gas line. This gave me the idea to get more black iron pipe to install as 2 hanging racks above the gas pipe line. I was too stubborn to install an intermediate support along the 9 foot span, not minding a slight pipe sag.This New Years Eve my fantastic new stove arrived. I was inspired to spruce up my pipe hanging system. I ordered your shelves to get more storage for odd items above my upper pipe rail. At the mid point of the gas lines I painstakingly installed my supports out of pipe hanging cast iron items (by myself! A 103lb 60 year old hot “old” lady!) Took forever to hacksaw the threaded rods, but got the job done happily) The gap in the 2 48” steel shelves align with the new pipe supports.I love it all!Now I am artfully hanging my kitchen supplies & now have room to display much used vases and odd cooking items on your beautiful shelves.One problem - my wall is slightly concave at one point. When we tightened down the shelf at that point, it torqued slightly. I thought about that for a while. Then just loosened the screws at two points, weighted down the shelf web there with about 25 pounds, and it was straight by the next morning. It has 3 solid anchor points, and two slightly loosened anchor points. I figure this is just fine.Thanks for making a great product. I hope you are happy with how it inspired me!
