The Original Fleetwood Mac

It's everything I expected it to be.

I like this collection a lot. I have one complaint, though. Tracks 4 and 5 have false starts (like the irritating Blue Horizons box set). So get out your wave editor. I suggest Audacity. It's a great, free home studio program, but it performs simple stuff like this with ease, so that even a nob like me can use it.

Great old school Fleetwood Mac featuring Peter Green, John McVie, Jeremy Spencer and Mick Fleetwood. This is an album of (at the time of release) unreleased outtakes and covers from the original Mac. These are very obscure tunes and if you are looking to dig deep into FMs history, this is a great start. If you're looking for more familiar old school Fleetwood Mac featuring Peter Green, with hits such as "Oh Well", "Black Magic Woman" and "Rattlesnake Shake" go purchase The Best of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. But as I said, if you're looking for deep cuts, this is the collection for you.Worth mentioning; there is two versions of this album. The version with the Blue Horizons logo on the top right cover has 19 tracks. They are 1-Drifting 2-Leaving Town Blues 3-Watch Out 4- A Fool No More 5- Mean Old Fireman 6- Can't Afford To Do It 7- Fleetwood Mac 8- Wortied Dream 9- Love That Woman 10- Allow Me One More Show 11- First Train Home 12- Rambling Pony Number 2 13- Warch Out Take 1 14- Something Inside me 15- Something Inside Me Take Two 16- Something Inside Me Take Three 17- One Sunny Day 18- Without You 19- Coming Your Way.The second version, without the Blue Horizon Logo on front, HAS A DIFFERENT TRACK LISTING. The first 12 tracks listed above are the same, however, tracks 13-16 are different. They are as followed; 13- Mighty Cold 14- Jumping At Shadows (live) 15- Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonight 16- Man Of Action. This is the better of the two versions in my opinion. So beware of what you might be purchasing and do some investigating before buying. I'm a diehard Fleetwood Mac enthusiast so I willingly bought both, but I know some people could be disappointed with getting something different than what they thought.

I've always wanted to try out the Original Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green. Being a fan of Gary Moore, Gary covered a lot of his songs. When I bought this cd I recognized a lot of the songs that Gary recorded. That's what made me want to try out a few of the Fleetwood Mac cd's. Man, am I glad that I did. These remastered cd's are of excellent quality. There's a mixture of slow and fast blues tunes that really blew me away. A lot of great guitar blues songs that I really enjoy. I have played this cd over and over again ever since I bought it. Very enjoyable and an excellent purchase. Being that this cd is so great, it has inspired me to buy a few more cd's from the Original Fleetwood Mac catalogue.

this cd really delivered what i was expecting.i received this cd with other f/m cd`s 3 day`s after i ordered them.the diffrent takes on some songs gives you some insight to what recording must have been like for the band.early f/m sound has a raw edge to it which fits in perfect with the times.i really like this cd and other cd`s of f/m of that time period.blues rule

Early British Blues at it's best showcasing the now legendary Peter Green on guitar. Often dismissed as a bonafide Mac LP this gem packs more punch than their first two British releases, only Then Play On is it's equal. Enjoy the boys that jumped ship leaving John Mayall and sending a more powerful sound with their new found freedom.

Very ok

Excellent early Peter Green led Mac. Some unnecessary outtakes included, but overall a great addition to the British Blues-Rock canon.
