Semikolon Medium Bound Linen Photo Album, Cream Pages, Plum (03118)

Semikolon continues to astound me. I have been purchasing bits a pieces of the ciel set for my daughter in law since she became engaged to my son.The quality of these items is beautiful. Most of these items are cardboard and paper, so they will have that sort of durability. I don't expect wonders. But they are beautifully crafted. This album is no different.The cover has a lovely linen-type fabric. It is covered with precision. It is book bound, as opposed to post bound, so the nuber of pages is set. But there are plenty of pages. Each page is separated with interleaving tissue - the sign of quality.It is, of course, acid free. The only down side I can see is that once you fill it with pictures, it will look overstuffed. I don't think this can be avoided with this album.(The alternative is fewer pages and spacers in between each page).That said, I still feel it is worth the monies spent.

When I lived in Germany, this was the standard photo album. I like being able to put a variety of sized photos in using photo corners - you are not confined to one size and the fabric cover is very nice as well as the protective sheet in between the pages. But are these hard to find. I honed in on Semikolon from an excellent photography supply company in NYC, but they no longer had this size. Amazon to the rescue (how do they do it?) and now I can transfer my husband's "baby to college grad" photos into these very nice albums to put on a shelf versus stuffed in a box or, as they current are, in a sticky sheet album that is falling apart. P.S. You can get the photo corners in clear, white, or black from Amazon as well ... and if you want to write info in, the non-fade markers ...

I bought this to use as a scrapbook for my Polaroid vacation photos. I like the simplicity of the book, and I like the way it looks like a regular library book on our shelf. I'm not crazy about the page seams inside, but you can cover it with scrapbook paper (as I did in my wedding scrapbook). This one I'm just keeping very simple.

This is an amazing way to keep your photos. I love it and have put my most cherished ones in it. Can’t wait to purchase the large one

Excellent construction, materials, and quality. I ordered this online because I could not find a scrapbook with blank pages like the "older" style of scrapbook. The pages have semi-transparent glassine pages that protect the pages and your photos. I really don't like the look of plasticky cover sheets for the standard 8x8 and 12x12 scrapbook binders and feel these books have a much nicer heritage quality to them. I'm using a combination of photo corners and my Cricut machine to make my son's baby book.

I have used Semikolon's smaller albums before and knew about the high quality of the product. The only surprise that I experienced was that there is a fine tissue page between each set of pages ... I didn't expect that and at first I was annoyed but realize that the intent is to preserve the photos and it is probably a good idea. I would order this product again.

Love these albums for scrap booking although I found that if I use both pages, the binding is stretched.

Absolutely wonderful quality and a perfect choice for our wedding guest book. There was plenty of room in the binding for the hundreds of instax photos that were added.

Sehr schönes Fotoalbum! Ich habe es für Fotos von Baby‘s 1. Lebensjahr bestellt. Es ist deutlich kleiner als das noch größere Modell mit Fenster von Semikolon, die wie fürs 1. Kind haben. Der Stoffeinband sieht jedoch hochwertiger und schicker aus. Wer ein dezentes, klassisches Fotoalbum für die Baby Fotos sucht, ist hiermit gut bedient.

schönes Album mit sehr guter Verarbeitung. Das Design ist schlicht und zeitlos. Habe es nun schon zum zweiten Mal gekauft und kann es nur empfehlen.Ich empfehle 9x13 Fotoformat, wenn man zwei hochkant und eins quer kleben möchte.Bei dem Format 10x15 passen eigentlich pro Seite nur zwei Fotos hin.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto in diversi formati. Come ho scritto altre volte, si tratta di un album fotografico di buona qualità, con una velina che protegge ogni pagina e una rilegatura che dà un'impressione di solidità. Per il suo prezzo piuttosto elevato, è indicato per conservare fotografie a cui si tiene particolarmente. Trovo questo formato ideale per chi stampa da sé , in quanto in una pagina trova posto il formato 15x20 (o in caso di stampa dal fotografo il 13x18).

Hervorragende Qualität. Ist bereits das zweite Semikolon-Album, das ich gekauft und beklebt habe. Mega geile Haptik und Optik, läßt keine Wünsche offen. Liebe es.

Das Fotoalbum sieht von außen und innen gut aus und ist gut verarbeitet. Der Einband ist stabil. Hinten ist ein Fach, in das man eine CD verstauen kann. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
