Broken within a week; rat's nest in the crank assembly you cannot get to.
I knew as soon as I opened this box I was not going to like this umbrella. As I show in the photo, I was using the umbrella for maybe the 4th or 5th time when the forecast turned to rain. When I went to retract it, a rat's nest bound up inside the retraction housing. See the photo, for what I could show of it. So with the wind picking up, I've got a 10' sail on my deck I'm trying to unmount from the base and repair. I open the winding mechanism housing only to find I cannot access the side with the rat's nest. Ended up cutting the line at the top joint of the umbrella so I could collapse it before it was blown away. The entire piece is very cheaply assembled. All of the major joints are made of cheap plastic. I'll be trying to send this back if I can. Waste of money.

I Wish I Read the One Star Reviews First
Like other one star reviewers, this umbrella does not stay open. We can actually see the crank start to turn on it’s own! It happened the first time and I figured I did something wrong. Now it’s every time. It’s fully extended open and eventually looks like an umbrella that hasn’t been clicked open yet. It is very bouncy in the littlest wind and I am grateful we finally screwed it to our trex deck (which I didn’t want to do) since the sand weight they suggest for it wasn’t holding it well even though I believe it was at capacity with sand. Of course by the time it was opened and I got to checking on a return it passed the window. Don’t waste your money. Get a regular market umbrella! Even if they rip (which ours did), they sell replacement canvas for it at a minimal cost.

Good value
This patio umbrella arrived safely without any major damage, although it does have some plastic stress shown on the locking handle and the pole slide coupling parts. Whish the packaging could be a little bit better, add a few straps and more forms in the packaging could really prevent potential damages or broken parts. Setup was easy and straightforward. Took me 5 minutes to get this thing up. One thing to keep in mind, it requires a heavy base to keep the umbrella from tipping over. Heavy paver stones from your local home improvement center works great. The fiber feels heavy enough to withstand a few seasons of use. Really wish it come with the storage bag that's for winter storage. As a side note, the crank case tend to collect whater after it rains. You get what you pay for. Only time will tell how well the umbrella withstand to the nature's abuse. Over all very satisfying with the purchase.

It’s ok, but a lot of plastic parts for outdoors?
It looks nice but there’s plastic in places that seem like they would need to be sturdier. Like the lever part that rotates the angle and the crank casing. Just seems prone to weather and also looks like pretty ‘soft’ plastic. Attached is a picture of a part just above the lever piece that seems to be bending from the inside, probably from the metal arm/joint. I don’t see this lasting very long... we just purchased a month ago.

Not the value for the money
I do not normally write a bad review because the manufacture usually stands up for their product. I have several issues with this umbrella first of which the crank handle will not stay in the locked position. I have to bungee cord it to stay extended. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that is an Issue with their product. Then we’ve noticed that the extension handle also slips on occasion. Lastly I thought that the extended base of the umbrella stand would allow stability which is needed because of the over arching reach of the umbrella, not so we have to put bricks on the stand to keep it from falling over. I am really not happy with the design. I know I can return this but it is very cumbersome because of its size to so. I am undecided what to do next

Great quality
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It is very easy to assemble, took me about 10 minutes. Great quality. The size is bigger than I thought, probably enough for 4 to 6 people. Only thing is that the umbrella can’t stand by itself, I had to put some sand bags at the base to make it stand firmly.

Didn’t last a day in a light breeze.
Not durable at all. I set it up with weights on the stand legs and opened it up on a day with a light breeze. I could tell it might be problematic as soon as I opened it up because of how much the pole leaned. After a couple of hours the pole was leaning at about 20 degrees. The angled reinforcement on the umbrella side had buckled and the opposite side had started to stretch around the bolt.

Worst purchase ever!! Don’t waste your Money!
The worst design ever. The umbrella itself just dangles so if there is the slightest breath of wind, it will disturb your shade coverage constantly... not to mention the weight of the umbrella has the entire thing leaning over which also means when the wind blows it can (and will) blow over on top of whomever it is providing shade to. We purchased weighted tiles that are made for this umbrella and all 4 are not enough to keep it upright. I bought this for my 2 year old to be able to play in our back yard and now it just sits folded up because we don’t trust it. Now it’s too much of a hassle to send back. Spent FAR too much money on such a piece of crud. Don’t waste your time or money on this one.
