Umbrella Cockatoo Approved It
I got this for our umbrella cockatoo who likes to snuggle in blankets. Thought she would enjoy having this in her cage, which she does. Only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is really her fault. She has chewed off all the "sheepskin" lining and then added extra windows with more chewing. Of course, that is what big birds do, so I wasn't terribly surprised. But if you're buying this and expect it to last for a while in mint condition, don't deceive yourself ~ LOL! Even though it is tattered and pitiful looking, she is still enjoying it.

There's only 2 small things I dislike about it
My bird is still scared of the hut and refuses to go near it but that won't stop me from giving this 4 stars. It's extremely well put together. There's only 2 small things I dislike about it. There's a small tag on the inside that I had to cut out to ensure my bird wouldn't chew on it. Also the velcro straps are extremely long and hard to maneuver

My Grey Loves It =)
My Grey used to just sleep on her perch. It wasn't until I got a baby Macaw (I put a big shoe box in his cage for him to hide in since he's still a baby) that I realized birds like to hide when they sleep. It made sense. I bought this but when it arrived I was a little hesitant because my Grey seemed unsure of it. I even read on the manufacturer's site that it could sometimes take months for birds to warm up to this little hut.Well after about a week, I got up this morning to find her sleeping inside. All warm and snuggly. When I talked to her, she peeked out of the doorway with one eye and then went back inside to sleep some more. It was just too cute. lol I have a crazy work schedule so I tend to go to bed very late and get up very early in the morning. I have read online that birds need to have a good nights sleep (uninterrupted) and I was worried that this was effecting her. So now that she has a little hut, she can continue on with her beauty rest even after I get up and turn on the lights. =)She loves it so I love it. Would totally recommend it to others with parrots =)

Our chainsaw of a cockatoo did not like it and chewed it up
Our chainsaw of a cockatoo did not like it and chewed it up ! It really did not fit well in his cage either. For our bird it was a waste of money. It is big and roomy inside, and it does take a lot of room up on the perch.

This thing is huge!
I ordered the large size since I wanted a roomy snuggle hut for two cockatiels who like their personal space. This thing is ENORMOUS! Of course, my ever-cranky female threw a hissy fit as soon as she saw it. She doesn't like new stuff until she's had a week or so to get used to it. There is no way this will fit inside the cage, so I placed it over one of their playsets, near the cage. The male soon got curious and explored it, finally Paloma checked it out too, but she still won't go inside. I think it's a good product, and a good addition to my avian habitat.

I love it, bird isn't sure!
I got two of these, one for a blue front amazon and one for a hahn's mini macaw. It is fairly easy to set up (altho, note that it is a tad challenging if your cage is dome top).My amazon isn't impressed - she pretty much ignores it. My Hahn's - little comedian that she is, sleeps on top of it, on her back, right by the chimney. So, I guess I can say she loves it - just not in the way I thought she would! They are well made and attractive, and I'd definitely buy again.

Avian Haven Hut
I received this over a week ago and it's a high quality item. unfortunately my bird is afraid of it and won't use it. I have had it in her cage for almost a week and she will not go on the perch it's on.
