Al Fajr Vertical Grey Azan Clock (Model Cs-03)

When we got the clock it was great and delivery was good. But only after a couple of months the Adan stopped working properly. It would be loud then on its own drops down so low that you can barely hear it all in the same Adan. I contact the SELLER about the problem. All they did was push me to contact Amazon. They did not want to take any responsibility that there product was not working well. I will never order from them again. Bad customer service!!!

I am writing on behalf of my wife. She was very excited when she bought it but after using it for more than a month, she is very disappointed and is returning it. Here are the facts:-1. Web description says, it is 2AA battery operated which is true. But how frequently batteries need to be chanaged, is not mentioned there. It needs frequent battery replacement even with high quality battery atleast 2 or 3 times per month.2. If you don't replace the batteries- the Azan volume becomes barely audible. If you can't hear Azan from the other room, then there is no point buying it.3. Now if you change the batteries- then you have to reset the clock every single time manually (including your city, location, time zone, daytime saving option etc) using the MANUAL which is not user friendly.4. Another reason we bought it was- we learned from Q/A section that adapter is available for the product. Regretefully, which is not true. I am quoting-"All prayers and works by battery charger is optional By ALM Audio Visual SELLER on May 21, 2016" , "Question: Can i use an ac adapter for this item? tiaAnswer: Yes you csn By ALM Audio Visual SELLER on May 28, 2016"I have submitted the return request and now they are charging me $6 for return shipping.

after my other adhan clock gave out after many years I thought I would give this one a try. it's much smaller so it doesn't take up a lot of space. it's pretty easy to set up as long as all directions are followed. It took me a bit to figure out I needed to account for daylight savings time but the instruction booklet is very easy to follow. also that's something you'll want to keep if you need to reset it latter.the sound is loud enough for me to hear when I have this on the first floor of our house. I can hear it in the basement as well as the upper floor so it's not something my kids can claim they didn't hear.I did have some weird problem were all of the adhan calls were for Fajar salah. I don't know what happened and I fixed it just as mysteriously.overall this is a great clock easy to use and will be heard by all of your household.

This is a good basic azaan clock. The instructions are pretty clear for the most part but it took me a while to figure out how to set my city. The azaan times are always accurate and match the times in our local masjid. The azaan is very beautiful.However the volume on it is on the lower side. This is more suited for smaller apartments than bigger houses.But here's the downside, it uses wayy too much battery power and I have to change them frequently which is okay I don't mind. My issue is they whenever I change the battery the whole clock gets reset and I have to set the clock/calendar/city zone all of it again and it's not fun to do. I don't know why it doesn't remember this tiny bit of information when it's battery is taken out. And just for this reason I wouldn't recommend getting this one.

My only qualm would have to be the high battery turnover this clock requires. I feel as if every couple months I have to replace the batteries. There is also no way to save the settings, so you have to manually enter all the information which is tedious and time consuming after changing the batteries. If you purchase the batteries from dollar store- this clock will go through them on a weekly basis. I recommend some expensive ones to last at least couple months. Other than the batteries issues, this clock clearly and concisely conveys the Azaan (5) times a day. It also has an amazing alarm clock feature (which I never use). Also you do not have to manually enter the Azaan timings daily, it automatically sets for you (after the initially manual setup). This clock also has a daylight savings feature which needs to be manually adjusted during daylight savings. I cannot have the Azaan on my phone so this has been a life saver especially during Ramadan.

Azan sound doesn’t come through anymore. I loved this clock when I first got it. It is hard to set and batteries need frequent replacement but it was working fine. Suddenly one day the azan sound just stopped. I have tried taking out the batteries for extended periods of time in hopes of resetting it and also tried keeping the volume on max. But nothing is happening and I am past my return date so I am unable to get a replacement either. Now I will be hunting for another prayer clock since this one only functions as a regular clock now 😖

This little clock is very well made. Attractive ad well as functional. The set up instructions are very clear and easy to follow.It comes preprogrammed with tons of cities, including most USA major cities. It also offers instructions on how to add locations that are not listed.Accuracy is very good. I live in Minneapolis Minnesota, and have been comparing the Azan schedule on the clock to the schedule published by the islamic center, and thus far the times match give or take a few seconds.The Azan recording itself is very melodious and pleasant to the ear even at the Fajr.Overall, i am very happy with the product and feel the value is worth the price.

I wish I knew about this long time ago.. I'mVery pleased with this Azan clock. The timing is accurate.. the functionality is simple and the volume is adequate for our house!! With option to adjust the volume!! Being away from home and not able to hear azan on daily basis, is not pleasant.. since we got this, my kids also learnt quickly the ritual of prayers.. strongly recommended to all muslims who are not lucky to be in Muslim countries to hear the soulful invitation to namaz!! Worth every penny!!
