As someone hard to impress, I’m impressed
I am HIGHLY impressed with this laptop. I’ve only used it for a couple hours so far to load up my development tools but I spend a lot of time with quality development laptops and I can tell it’s a solid performer. Your restoration process was great, I see no smudges on the screen and the keyboard and case are nice and clean. Shipping was fast and packaging was spot on as well. Thank you. It’s hard to find quality and pride in workmanship these days and I see it with this product. Great job!

Worked flawlessly
I had an existing M4700 that had started to fail to boot back in April, so I picked up this refurbished system up with the intent of moving the drives over once the old system's motherboard finally died. That finally happened a few days ago (mid-August).Once I got the drives and RAM out of the old system and into the replacement, the replacement system booted up perfectly. All pre-boot tests passed. Interior was clean, no annoying Loctite (like my original unit had), battery tests indicate it is in perfect shape.It was completely worth it. Now let us see if I get another 9 years out of the system ...

Is this a joke
The battery lasts a couple of hours with no apps or programs open, but maybe that's because there are 170+ windows and other background processes running when I've closed out all I know are safe to close and o lt have task manager open?Refurbished? No, this is just someone's laptop and they couldn't even do a factory reset! There is all kinds of stuff on here from years back and not just event logs. I can't believe Amazon claimsnthey have someone inspect these before shipping.It gets hot basically immediately and I have hardly accessd the internet or used any apps or programs on this thing. It seems to need to be cleaned and maybe a new fan. Definitely a fan.2 lbs? How can they get away with this? This is at least 4 lbs. Probably heavier, I mean I've never seen a laptop this heavy. It is so heavy that it defeats the purpose of even having a laptop instead of a regular desktop PC, and I'm really curious about seenwhat is inside it when I have to take it apart to clean it before it fries itself.It has installed programs I did not install and other wonky things, and that combined the amount of battery power used/events occurring **when I am not even here and it's off** makes me strongly strongly suspect came with

CD drive can eject
I had the more expensive Dell M4800 that refused to eject a DVD. This didn't come with backlit keys so I am returning it.
