Great quality henna with fabulous colour results and shine
This henna is awesome! Really excellent quality with a great dye release. I have been using henna on my hair for a few years after developing an allergic response to chemical dyes and it is certainly true that not all henna is equal! I have used various types of henna, preferring Moroccan for it's better red results on my hair, but the henna I have bought the last few times was disappointing, giving a much less noticeable result. This henna has changed all that with the beautiful red result (not brassy at all just rich red which has not faded quickly like some henna does) and I am so happy with it! I have had so many compliments on my hair since I used it and it gave the most beautiful shine to my hair too!One thing to watch out for is that you may want to use a heavier barrier than coconut oil. I used a thick layer of it (which has been okay for the less potent hennas I've been getting recently) and still ended up with an orange tide mark which took me some time to get out. There was a small panic lol! If I used this henna again I would use...much as I hate to say it...good old vaseline as it's less likely to absorb into my skin along with the dye! Also, the instructions say to mix the henna up with water. Water will still give you a result, but henna dye release tends to work better if you use something acidic like lemon juice or a mix of water and lemon juice (I use mostly lemon juice with some strong tea!). I would also leave it for longer than a couple of hours to release the dye....more like overnight unless you are leaving it in a very hot room. But wow! Great quality product! Cannot recommend highly enough if you are looking for a decent henna that will give you those lovely red tones.

Brilliant Moroccan henna
This Moroccan henna is brilliant- I've used it twice now and it far exceeds any of the henna's from India. This is a game changer for me. I will purchase again without hesitation.ProsYou only have to leave this Moroccan henna for 2hrs to activate - not like other brands that need to be left four hours to overnight.It's fine and easy to mix - the lumps disappointed quick.Left it on for 4hours and the results (red tones) were amazing on my black hair.Instructions were easy and correct.ConsI wish they had larger packs to order.

Colour and condition
This product is very good for conditioning hair and all natural. That said, not so good for colour - does not really add much red. My hair is naturally red-brown and I have used powdered henna in the past to increase the red tones. Other brands - which are increasingly hard to find - make my hair much redder. I only noticed a slight change with this one, but condition was very good.

It was really good. I’ve never used henna before but this seemed relatively easy to use (watched quite a few YouTube videos before using it though)Instructions are clear but I feel like watching some tutorials helps too.I left it for 3 hours, have pretty thick hair and it still covered my grey hairs and gave the rest a beautiful dark brown/red tint.

Good henna
Very Good product. I used on my brown hair and I got chestnut reddish hair now.My hands were a little bit stained even I used the gloves.I’m satisfied about the results on my hair though.

Waste of money
I got this henna because of the good reviews. I wish I'd stuck to my normal brand. It was so hard to mix in order for there not to be any lumps. Then you have to leave it to stand so it's really cold when you apply it. The colour was also really dull and bland - no vibrancy at all.

I liked it
I love the packaging of this henna. I mixed mine with tea and lemon and got a lovely dark brown hue. I was mostly using it for it's restorative properties on the hair. Be careful though when mixing it. It should be a paste and mine was quite runny so it was a bit messy. But it was easy to clean off of surfaces and it left my hair feeling great.
