I have never been more mad at an inanimate object in my life...here’s why:1) The “bull dozing rod” will certainly get stuck and you will spend 95% of your time sampling trying to get unstuck. For note, I am sampling very sandy soil so it would be even worse if it were dark land. You are better off getting one without an ejector because you will need to take the soil out of the core by hand either way.2) When trying to get the “bull dozing rod” to become unstuck you will most likely smash your fingers (it will be feel equivalent to shutting your fingers in a car door) when it finally does break free.3) The foot lever is not attached so it moved up and down and all around. Not pleasant when you are trying to put some pressure on it to force in the ground and the lever moves.

I received the product and it works excellent. I had lost part of the probe in the field and contacted the supplier. They were quick at responding and helping replace the part i lost. Great service
