works perfectly
Amazon comes through again, $6.78 for a part that would undoubtedly be $45 or so, if I bought it directly from the manufacturer. Perfect fit, now my table saw is running again.

Good value for the money.
I had a little trouble installing it, but it works as well as the original, which is no longer available. I would have liked to have a wiring diagram, but it plugged in the same as the original; don't think it could be connected any other way due to the location of the connectors on the saw.

This GREAT GRAMMA says, "My saw works SAFELY again"
My Ryobi portable table saw was working fine, as it usually does, while I was cutting pieces of wood for craft projects. Everything was going well until I went to turn it off. UH OH. The switch wouldn't turn off the blade. Anyone who works with a saw completely gets it. I get it bcuz I had a neighbor who lost their thumb so safety is always important. Anyways, I unplugged saw and with the Ryobi brand switch in OFF position, plugged in again. OOOPS....it's on and that blade is spinning fast, so unpluged it again. What in the world would trigger that problem just out of the blue? So I contacted the popular hardware & chain stores, the ones we all know and love. None of them had a switch in stock. So if I have to order it's gonna be from Amazon. Price was better and quicker delivery. Rec'd switch and then I removed the attached connections from the Ryobi switch, made a point to make sure the connectors would be put on the new switch EXACTLY the same. I then wanted to watch a YouTube, just for a little encouragement. After an hour of useless videos I had to look up the model of my saw since it was a 2nd hand purchase & model # wasn't on the saw. In the end it's 2 white wires on one side and 2 black wires on the opposite side, which was different than how the Ryobi switch was hooked up. Figured if I mess it up I get to buy a brand new table saw. Plugged it in and voila' a working saw with a working switch. ..........................................................................................................................................................As a result, I highly recommend this switch for Ryobi portable table saw circa about 2003. I'm sure it will also fit other models that are advertised. Price is great and the hook up for those men and women who are better at understanding electric connections, will have no problems ...........................................................................................................................So this great gramma is back at it, making stuff for the kids, grandkids and great grandkids! Good Luck
